00:40Leanne Elliott is a dedicated wedding planner in Florida.
00:44She's helped dozens of brides find their perfect love but has
00:47yet to find her room because you've got to
00:50we're about to dive into an adorable adventure filled with
00:56romance, she's going to want somebody good-looking of
00:58course.

01:43As Peter favorite. I'm Kevin and I'm Deborah we're trying to
01:49find love for our daughter Lee and you know, yeah, you've got
01:52this. But so first of all.
01:58I think he might like you.
02:03How long have you been married 34 years. And still in love
02:08still. So Leanne grew up with 2 incredibly loving parents tell
02:13me a little bit more about her.
02:16We answer on wedding and event planning business.
02:19Leon has always been a planner.
02:21She probably over indexed on getting that ready.
02:24Now the career is off to the races. Yes, you can kind of
02:28focus on another staff. Step back and think about Lee and a
02:32little more Lindsay's your other daughter's oldest oldest
02:35and she's the one who's getting there. Yes, so Leanne is
02:37planning Lindsay's wedding. Yeah, which she always kind of
02:41enamored with the idea of true love did you see that yes and
02:45what does it feel like to know that she plans weddings for a
02:48living but hasn't gotten married yet herself.
02:51It's hard, I mean you know she has to think about that who
02:54wouldn't I know she thinks it will be my turn.
02:58For lots of holidays, we've taken a family cruise together
03:02our oldest brought her fiance daughter number 3 brought her
03:06long-term boyfriend, but Leanne didn't have anybody to bring
03:12her to her little bit.
03:14And what about like past long-term relationships has she
03:18dated anybody significantly.
03:22I think we probably wondered if it was the best match for
03:25either one of them.
03:26She got her heart broken how long did the this
03:29relationship last maybe a little over 2 years, okay,
03:32she just opens her heart to everyone gives to everyone.
03:37And so we want to help get just maybe that little extra boost,
03:41you know to get her back on track after all you know she is
03:45sunshine and she she deserves to have that back.
03:48What are the men like down in Florida down really and as you
03:52have younger people and then older.
03:55And it's kind of in between age really and as there aren't that
03:59many there.
04:00I think what Roswell offers is a wider selection.
04:04I think the whole area
04:06attracts a young professional population angry.
04:10And what are the traits that you would look for in a partner
04:13for Leanne.
04:15I think a partner for Leanne will have some self-confidence
04:19humility kind caring affectionate what about a job
04:25or an income look definitely haha like him to be employed
04:31like okay, somebody that's on the road to financial
04:35stability and who understands the role of a husband and
04:40family he has to love to be that's a must be involved
04:43Elliott family. We do like to be each.
04:46We've often told the children if you marry somebody we like
04:49we can have a lot of fun together.
04:50Haha so somebody that loves them madly and she can look
04:56high and low.
04:58She'll have a hard time.
05:02Finding people who love her more than us.
05:07You tell me what the plan is for tonight, but we've asked
05:09some of our friends and family was friends family to join us
05:14and we're going to talk a little bit about what the
05:16mission is and what we're going to work on together.

06:36fireball she's a go getter got that real adventurous spirit
06:40and she's done great she left Roswell years ago went down to
06:45Florida. The one thing that hasn't happened.
06:47Talk to us about that.
06:51Where she lives wonderful people down there and I'm sure
06:54people find their soulmate down there every day it just hasn't
06:57Leanne can you talk to me a little bit about a potential
07:01match for Leanne she loves fun, she loves the beach.
07:05Beach is important to me and our family obviously each is
07:08one of the family. Have to like the beach are you can't be in
07:13our family. Adventure spirit spirit outgoing loves to have
07:18fun loves games loves family time self-confident. Yes,
07:24yeah, yes, humility, a solid career. Yes, she's going to
07:28want somebody good looking.
07:33You have like an a a preferred age range we've been thinking
07:3628 to 40 that's a generous range.
07:42I think it's time for all of you to start to think who might
07:47potentially possibly be a fun interesting person for Leanne
07:51to go out on a date with does anybody have any ideas.

08:04hunk he's 6, 4,
08:07yes, and he is a personal trainer. He played college
08:11football very into family and now he is ready to find love
08:14and I would throw in there that he does like to try to say

08:28We've known the Elliott's for 10 years, I'm going to nominate
08:32Ben and then it's also very tall financial planner, okay,
08:37very stable helpful loves the beach.
08:42And most importantly loves blondes.

08:53Who are you nominating, I'm proud to nominate my brother
08:57Michael Courtney he owns his own business. He's a software
09:00developer loves to be we used to go to the beach all the time
09:04and he saw is looking to the sky. I was always wonder what
09:07are you looking at and I really think he was thinking about
09:09your daughter.

13:38How would you describe yourself, I'm involved in the
13:41art world painting so that has a really significant place in
13:46my life, I'm
13:48curious.
13:50I'm a curious person. I'm excited about discovering what
13:54life is okay.
13:56Sounds like some deep thoughts to consider yourself, but a
13:59deep thinker.
14:02I don't know.
14:03We do see Lee and wanting a family do you see yourself with
14:08a wife and a family one day, yeah, something there, but I
14:12always say it's kind of depends on the person. So I think too
14:16much
14:17down the road.

14:34I have a question for you how do you feel about the beach.
14:37I love the beach did grow up around natural water what's
14:40kept you from finding a wife.
14:45That's such a hard question.
14:53I spent a long time focusing on my career, I guess the past 9
14:56years I wanted to get somewhere where I can take care of
14:58somebody it's provide that financial security that you
15:01want children. I think that's certainly where my life is
15:05headed. Awesome just sit right here.

15:54could tell me about your daughter, she owns her own
15:56business is a wedding and event planner so she loves love.

16:22I run their beverage program to travel with the company from
16:25Atlanta when his college at Georgia Tech.
16:27I'm a tech guy to go Jack when it when did you get out.
16:32You feel like you're in a spot where you are or heading
16:40towards financial stability. I do live very comfortably.
16:43But it's not my end goal.
16:46I understand that yeah, yeah, I take your picture absolutely

17:02think about a family one day, yeah, absolutely what kind of

17:15this ambition, you know, it's like hey, I just found
17:17something I think it's really cool. I want to go and do that
17:20now and then they actually follow through on you have a
17:23passion about career, I T management and security my
17:27goodness field. Yeah, you tell me a little bit about yeah,
17:30she's very adventure, she'll hop in a kayak or a boat.
17:34Yeah, it's not afraid to try and also can I take your

17:54and dad, you know, I thought I was coming home to celebrate
17:56you Lindsay and I mean this is all crazy right we wanted to
18:01flip the script a little bit since you're planning
18:03everything we wanted to
18:04plan something for you for what I just can't believe that you
18:08know they've involved everyone a lot of people in this and
18:11everyone's kind of my business so that's my concern. Yeah for
18:13sure. Well the heart parts of the way now. I mean mom and
18:17dad have already met him they probably approve of them if
18:19they're going to do some of the U.S. already have their
18:21approvals that's check right.
18:24I think that if you really lean into this experience and give
18:28it your all and be the way and that we all know and love I I
18:32think that this could really be a great experience.
18:37We've gone through so much together and
18:40I love getting to be a part of you know your wedding and
18:43planning your wedding with you and I just want to give all my
18:46love to you guys and you know make sure you all are happy and
18:49you all know how loved you are so I think it's emotional to
18:52see that y'all you know
18:54y'all care about me is that much to and you want to see me
18:57happy.
18:58I know I like to be the leader and the planner so it's hard to
19:02let other people control my dating life and I think I have
19:06struggled and with my past relationships and I just went
19:09through a rough breakup and they know that I'm guarded and
19:13I think that maybe I'm not worthy of love. So maybe this
19:17is their way of trying to get me back in the dating scene and
19:21you know so how much they love and care about me.
19:24I guess it's hard.
19:25You know for me to express my feelings and but just know that
19:29it's appreciated.
19:31We love you more than life.

20:11contact when I met him, you know, yeah, and there was neck

20:18personality personality, he seemed very confident, yes,
20:21financial place and then we saw Mike great guy what a great
20:26career, yes, he seemed very open to new.
20:29I spent just quiet though right is that kind of trying to
20:33figure out I don't know you know could be nerves that could
20:35be you know kind of hard to tell is there one that that
20:39stands out.

20:43It was a sense of just genuine. I felt there another one.

23:36I had to have a type I think you with that type.
23:39Yes, I think you are attractive. So what's your typical type.
23:43The girls in the past that I've typically found myself
23:45attracted to are blind.
23:47Obviously nice smile. Yeah, I mean first thing I noticed was
23:50he had a really good smile. So you are my type like that.

23:54Oh, what's the things you like to do outside of work in the
23:58water baby. So I like to be in the water on a boat to that
24:01hang out my friends. How about you? I would say it's probably
24:0470% you know go hang out with friends, but like the other
24:06time I want to be myself hang out with my my cat. I have a
24:09cat by the way, so now we're done.

24:16You're a big big dog for sure. I do love dogs though. I'm a
24:19huge dog. I just don't have one yet because I can't have a dog
24:23where I live right now so.
24:25So tell me about you and your your work. I always want to do
24:29personal training because like I've always wanted to make like
24:31a positive impact on somebody and working with them in a one
24:34and working with them in a one on one setting. Yeah, do you
24:36want to have a family and kids one day absolutely being the
24:39best father and husband that I can be is probably my biggest
24:42goal since like high school. So yeah, this is crazy. You're
24:46like saying all the same things I feel so this is like a weird.
24:50Well, I mean I think that's a good thing right. Yeah, no no
24:52complaints. I mean I feel like you and I have covered
24:54conversations that I sometimes didn't even have with
24:58past relationships so once and you know exactly yeah, I mean
25:02I feel the same way like I feel very comfortable talking to you
25:04I think that it was super easy to open up.
25:07I feel like I know who you are at this point. Yeah, first thing
25:10I noticed though like maybe pickleball could be something
25:12I could work on a little bit.
25:15I mean back at you you should probably stay in practice.

26:11vinegar tasting shop olive oil actually is a lot like wine
26:14tasting you can either sip it if you want out of the little cup

26:24I do really like olive oil and I'm a big fan of olive oil.

26:58I'm from Roswell area. Went to Auburn University and then
27:03kind of worked my way up into starting my own business so.
27:06And yeah, it's kind of a short version.
27:11Could you tell me a little bit about any past relationships
27:13any in interesting stories.
27:17I think we have enough time for all my interesting story.

27:48I'm saying is Roscoe he's like a full month so mix of
27:51everything big dog small small dog medium size, yes, like been

28:08What are your pets names grizzly and then her sister is
28:11potato how to potato get her name, she's kind of did see
28:16it worked out though because now if she's being a little
28:18extra that day and I can call her spicy potato she's being
28:21nice and she's a sweet potato.

29:56by a girl's parents before going on the first day of
29:59parents are very enjoyable. I had a good first day.

30:15you're way more accurate than. So you grew up in Roswell
30:18right I did I did right after I graduated Auburn I moved on
30:22Florida and I've been there ever since. Yeah, I grew up
30:25mostly on the lake so I do love the salt water and the beach
30:29it's always a nice time.
30:32Maybe that's where we complement each other. Yeah,
30:34water and fresh water.
30:37I don't have a water tight.
30:39Near water. What I'm happiest.
30:45Give it a shot and splash me, but splash me all right,
30:49a boy don't make me regret this.
30:58I look at what's way better with the pink.
31:00Yeah, it's good for all the 3 art pieces which one looks the
31:06best. This one number one.
31:08I feel bad I got some paint on you so.
31:15Don't lie to me how bad is it so bad. If you like pink hair.

31:28What do you do so I work in wealth manage okay, do you feel
31:31financially stable. I do I think I at least got to that
31:34point where yeah, I can take a step back right be more
31:37flexible and kind of in charge of my own day to day now so
31:40that's a big relief what about kids is you know.
31:44Absolutely my parents did a great job of raising me and so
31:48I think it's very enriching experience to pass on a legacy
31:52to have some kids.
31:54So I'm why the mustache, an uncle that is very close to me
31:58he's been a big supporter of what I do.
32:01He ended up with cancer and having to go through chemo and
32:04he actually lost his mustache and it seems like a very silly
32:08thing to have a mustache with emotional meaning. But he has
32:12since passed and I'm very close with my hand over that.
32:16I like being that guy in the room, it's like guys you can
32:18charge a starter with. Exactly exactly yeah, it's kind of a
32:23whole lot. Yeah.
32:26Well, I don't hate it. I just I do we've opened the door.
32:30I'm not against the mustache mustache is fine, I just feel
32:34like there always is a story I appreciate your understanding
32:37yeah.
32:38Have you ever been in love before.
32:41I don't think I ever have been in love.
32:44I find that honestly a bit troubling at times and that's
32:47what I'm working to try and change that's why I'm putting
32:50myself out there, it's all I would very much like to find
32:54somebody that I can spend the rest of my life. Yeah, I guess
32:57you loved it.
32:58Had heartbreak before is there. Yeah, I have so it's hard for
33:02me to let others in what did you learn from your heartbreak.
33:05I think I was one to you know put things to the side and
33:08think they fix their own and I think I learned to have
33:10conversations like this and be open to new experiences. I think
33:14it's super important you got to push each other and challenge
33:16each other and have these conversations.
33:19Well if we were to go out again what would you do.
33:22I like a Braves game or something like that I could
33:26arrange that.
33:27But hopefully this time on that second day no interview with
33:30your parents for.
33:30I just going to go with my parents.
33:45Really talking like they really got vulnerable. All right,
33:48I can tell that you're a group with a lot of opinions.
33:53And I want to hear your opinions, this is truly truly
33:56about finding love for Leanne and so now we're going to
34:00basically have each one of you come up you're going to write
34:03down on a piece of paper who you're voting for okay,

35:27like protection. Yeah, it's sort of kept you from meeting
35:32somebody I've been hurt in the past I found love and things
35:35moved super quickly and we live together, but then it was like
35:38do we really want the same things at the end of it was
35:40super hard.
35:42It's easier for me to put up walls than it is to hear those
35:45walls down and work on finding someone again.
35:48I just love my family so much and so lucky to have sisters
35:53and a brother and parents had to love me so much they've all
35:56really tried to lift me up. But I feel like with this whole
35:59experience, it's taught me that I really know what I want and I
36:02should go for what I want.
36:04I think I'm ready to have those conversations and open myself
36:08up again.
36:09Do you feel like there is somebody default spark.
36:13I think so so you really don't know I really don't know you're
36:17going to have to decide soon not to pressure you we all
36:21watch your dates lives. Oh my gosh, I mean it's fun or is
36:25this crazy crazy at this point, I mean it goes.

37:49bright and so wonderful so kind

37:58This experience taught me to lean in and you know open my
38:01heart and so that's what I did okay, it's just great to know
38:04how much not only you guys love and care about me, but that I
38:07have so many people in my circle.
