01:07words really resonate in my life and I say this not only for somebody who says an insider or
01:13any kind of you know competition because obviously as artists there is a lot of competition there are
01:18a lot of rooms that I walk into where I see 100 other girls vying for the exact same part
01:23so you really have to just understand that you are doing this for a reason because you love what
01:28you do and this is your journey so I think I just have these blinders on so I don't care whether I'm
01:35working harder than somebody else or not but I just want to work my hardest and that's the goal
01:46I don't know if elegant is a word that you would use for all my characters maybe
01:52one of them some others have been I've been lucky to play different kind of characters in fact
01:59both my releases recently be it Mehta Boys or Bandish Bandits have had two very different
02:05characters so I think it's very early on in my career to be typecast as anything very excited
02:12you know with the kind of opportunities that lay ahead of me so as of right now I don't feel
02:19like I've been typecast but if I've been rejected on something maybe I'm not aware of it

02:42Why would I switch roles with anybody in Bandish Bandit? I love playing Tamanna's character but
02:53having said that I think all the characters are so beautifully written be it the male characters
03:00and most importantly all the female characters but I really enjoyed you know being around Anand,
03:08our director Anand sir because it was crazy you know he was shooting the classical you know
03:15music world and then he was shooting the the royalty free music world which was a different
03:21you know genre of pop and there was rock in the middle and there was opera so there are
03:26different different genres so I mean obviously there's nobody who can do it the way he does but
03:31it was just a lot of fun to be on set even the days that I wasn't shooting and just take all
03:37of that in and see how you know the captain of our ship would handle everything with such
03:42ease and passion so that was very, very exciting
03:51I would say Tamanna is a pop star but my go-to karaoke songs are a lot of songs
04:02of the band Queen because their music really resonates with me and alongside that
04:11any Shah Rukh Khan song
04:18I wouldn't say this is a rumor but I think there's some misinformation on the internet which I don't
04:23know how to correct but a lot of people think I am born and from Calcutta but that is not so
04:32I absolutely love Calcutta but I was not born there and I'm not Bengali
04:41Oh, dramatic in in a very fun way is the I can't choose because you know the thing is that both
04:52Anand sir and Hrithvik are the life of our set they really bring the entire team together I mean
04:58obviously Anand sir has managed a cast of such a you know huge number but even as an actor Hrithvik
05:07is just so much fun to work with and he really because they both are very sensitive and
05:14you know sometimes I really feel like both Hrithvik and I really look up to Anand sir so Hrithvik
05:20you know has this habit of you know taking it upon himself to really bring the set together as
05:26well which is just so beautiful to see so I've totally drifted from the question but
05:34I will not call them dramatic I'll just say they both are the heart and soul of the set
