00:00Marathon weather tends to be either good for the spectator or good for the runner.
00:05And the 2025 version of the London Marathon definitely looks better for the spectators
00:10because it is going to be getting quite warm by Sunday afternoon.
00:13First thing Sunday morning as you're waiting for the start, it'll be quite fresh, quite cool.
00:19By the time the start gets underway, temperature's probably 10 or 11 degrees Celsius.
00:23Most of the day will be fine weather-wise, dry.
00:26There'll be some cloud, but there will also be some sunny spells coming through.
00:30And those sunny spells are likely to lift the temperatures through the morning
00:33so that by around midday we'll be looking at temperatures in the high teens, 18 or 19 Celsius.
00:38The winds are going to be fairly light. That's not an issue.
00:42But those temperatures will continue to tick up as we go through the afternoon,
00:46probably peaking around the middle of the afternoon at 22 degrees Celsius, maybe even 23 Celsius.
00:52So it's fine weather-wise, dry and bright, but it will be getting quite warm.
00:56If you're running, good luck and stay hydrated.
00:59And if you're going to watch, well, you might want the sunscreen.
