00:10From theatre to film, food to drink, let's look at a what's on guide for the City of Bristol.
00:17So, first up, as ever, We Be Curious is hosting more exhibitions, some that delve into the mysteries of space and time with hands-on exhibits and interactive displays.
00:30It invites visitors to explore the universe, from the formation of stars to the concept of black holes.
00:37Well, there's activities for all ages at We Be Curious, from storytelling to a greenhouse where you can learn all about bees and multiple interactive exhibitions.
00:49And the fun doesn't stop there. There's special events happening, including Planetarium Nights, immersive audiovisual events, at art battles and even after our events.
01:01Yeah, that sounds lovely. And it definitely one that is popular in the city.
01:08So, over at Bristol Ulbic Theatre, a powerful new drama is taking the stage. Voices of the City was a community-led production that brought together local stories and explores the diverse voices that shape the city of Bristol.
01:22The show looked at both the challenges and triumphs of Bristol's people, told through a mix of monologue, song and live performance.
01:31But this isn't the only production that locals can look forward to enjoying at the Bristol Ulbic.
01:36Adriana, tell me a little bit more about what we can expect.
01:40Well, first of all, the Bristol Ulbic is the oldest working theatre in the city.
01:45It has been a launchpad for legends such as Daniel Day-Lewis to Olivia Colman, who has since become big in the industry.
01:54And there's lots happening on this spring.
01:57So, for those Aardman fans, Gromit Unleashed has returned to Bristol for 2025.
02:02This iconic sculpture trail will once again transform the city into an open-air art gallery, featuring larger-than-life sculptures of Wallace Gromit and a host of new characters, all while supporting the grand appeal.
02:16Adriana, tell me more.
02:18Well, the Gromit Unleashed will hit the streets of Bristol from June 30th.
02:23The acclaimed sculpture trail will raise money for the Grand Appeal, which is Bristol's children's hospital charity.
02:30The trail will include well-known characters like Wallace Gromit and Feathers McGraw, alongside the newest member to the franchise, Norbert.
02:40Some of the designs take inspiration from movies and the legends, fables and tales that have inspired them.
02:47That's just a glimpse of what is happening in Bristol.
02:51Whether you're interested in art, science or outdoor activities, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
