00:00Okay, this is a basic ankle strapping using Fizik Tiger Tear 7.5 centimetres, and this is our start position.
00:08So from our start position, we're going to start in a way that we can pull round the ankle pulling up from the outside.
00:16We're going to do a lap of the foot, and then come up round the front of the ankle in a 45 degree.
00:22Lap round the lower shin, and then back on a 45 degree angle again.
00:32Okay, and then we're just going to repeat that cycle up and round, figure of eight.
00:42And then when we get to this position, we're going to come round the back of the ankle this time.
00:49And let the tape take you where it wants to go.
00:52So it's going to come back round the shin, this time back round the inside of the foot.
01:00Which finishes in this nice 45 degree angle again, where we can finish off at the top.
01:12Right, this is a basic basket weave for the ankle.
01:15And we're going to use the Tiger Tear 2.5 centimetres Zinc Oxide, on top of the white compressive tape we already have set up here.
01:23Okay, so we would start by giving ourselves an anchor, around the top of the shin, and the bottom of the foot.
01:32So these are our two anchor points, we're then going to work at the bottom, from inside, pulling round to out.
01:47As one part of our basket weave, and then also, from the inside of the ankle, working from more towards the back, pulling up to the outside.
02:05Okay, so that's the basis of our basket weave.
02:10We're then going to layer over, so working gently up.
02:14Again working round, and the same from inside to out, and continuing to build up the foot.
02:37Like so, and then we can just anchor off, in the same place again, at the top, and the bottom of the foot.
03:01That would be a nice basic ankle weave, to stabilize the outside of the ankle.
