00:00President Trump in Canada's new Prime Minister, Mark Carney, meeting at the White House.
00:04And unlike their last blackface love and soy boy, 47 clicked with fellow businessman Carney,
00:09drizzling a little maple syrup, while asking for the keys to the kingdom.
00:13A few days ago, he won a very big election in Canada, and I think I was probably the
00:19greatest thing that happened to him, but I can't say the vote for him.
00:22Canada chose a very talented person, a very good person.
00:25I have a lot of respect for this man.
00:27I'm a real estate developer at heart.
00:29When you get rid of that artificially drawn line, somebody drew that line many years
00:32ago.
00:33When you look at that beautiful formation, when it's together.
00:37There are some places that are never for sale.
00:39That's true.
00:40We're sitting in one right now, you know, Buckingham Palace that you visited as well.
00:44It's not for sale, won't be for sale ever.
00:47But the opportunity is in the partnership.
00:50But I say, never say never.
00:54But don't get any ideas that President Trump has softened his trade stance.
00:58Think of us as a super luxury store, a store that has the goods.
01:05You're going to come and you're going to pay a price, and we're going to give you a very
01:08good price.
01:09We could sign 25 deals right now, Howard, if we wanted.
01:13We don't have to sign deals.
01:14They have to sign deals with us.
01:15They want a piece of our market.
01:17We don't want a piece of their market.
01:19We've been ripped off by everybody for 50 years, for 50 years.
01:25And we're just not going to do that anymore.
01:27So, Judge, he's basically, his strategy is always to direct attention urgently to a matter,
01:34in this case, trade fairness.
01:35Under the assumption that leaders will always just wait out a president.
01:39How do you think this went?
01:43I have a totally different take.
01:46I've been thinking about this.
01:48And, you know, we are the biggest consumer, and apparently Canada relies on us to sell 75%
01:54of its exports, and a third of its imports are from us.
02:00But Donald Trump is the ultimate dealmaker, and nothing comes out of his mouth that isn't
02:07connected at some point to a deal.
02:11And I think that Donald, President Trump, is sensing weakness, and I think he smells blood.
02:17Recently, there has been an attempt by a few of the provinces in Canada to succeed.
02:25The provinces that want to succeed are Alberta, Quebec, and I think there's another one.
02:34These are the most, the largest oil producers in Canada.
02:39So, if there is a sense in Canada that, you know, the people aren't happy, the provinces
02:44that have talked about succeeding are saying that the Canadian federal government is not
02:50concerned about them, it may be that Trump is sensing this.
02:53And he's going to target them, and that all of this is just kind of, you know, like another
03:00discussion, but it's really about those places that want to succeed.
03:05Never heard that, did you, Jesse?
03:06I said it a couple months ago, but that's okay, Judge.
03:09Okay.
03:09Really?
03:10No, I think we want Alberta, because they're the powerhouse.
03:13They have all the oil, as the judge said.
03:15They have all the minerals.
03:16We don't want Quebec.
03:17They're just a bunch of old liberals.
03:19They're also conservative in Alberta.
03:21So, it's not a great, beautiful line, like what you'd see would just kind of look like
03:25a big Florida that would shoot up north, but it would give us access to the Arctic.
03:30They are, there's going to be a referendum.
03:32I don't know if it's going to be possible, but I like how he's using the leverage.
03:35If these people want to go, just use that as like a little pressure point to exploit them
03:40for concessions, because he's right.
03:41It is a huge department store.
03:43Pay them a premium to get into our country.
03:46Put your product on the shelf, and we'll buy it.
03:50They need us more than we need them, and that's what Trump has been saying this whole
03:55time.
03:56He needs to strike a little chemistry with this president.
03:59We don't need a Zelensky.
04:00People were saying this was going to be a Zelensky, meaning it wasn't.
04:03It was quite lovely, quite diplomatic, and I think people need to get used to the fact
04:09that Trump is diplomatic.
04:10Maybe not on true social, but when he's face-to-face, he's good.
04:15So he's asking, what do you have to offer, Canada?
04:17Are we going to get a mineral deal?
04:19Are you going to help with border security?
04:22That's what this is all about.
04:23What are we going to get out of this?
04:25And I think you're seeing a little bit of progress.
04:27And this guy, best thing he has going for him, he's not Trudeau.
04:31Yeah, he's not a nepotistic wonder, you know, with the famous-
