00:00How do they fix it, Keith?
00:03I mean, I would like to see, there's a lot of pressure on them, but I would like to see
00:06Anthony and Meyer with the big club, please.
00:08It's so obvious, and it's so obvious why they're not up.
00:12We have one guy who consistently texts us every day.
00:15He's like, wow, we're drinking the Kool-Aid guy?
00:17Yeah, we're the drinking the Kool-Aid guy.
00:19We suck up to management.
00:20I think we've consistently said, ownership is manipulating service time.
00:25Management is manipulating service time on these guys.
00:28They're keeping them down artificially in the minor leagues.
00:30They called up Campbell, game one, because Campbell played ball on a contract.
00:35They're not playing ball with Anthony and Meyer, and they're keeping them in AAA in Worcester
00:39because they didn't work with the team on a contract.
00:43So I think we've consistently criticized ownership for that.
00:46I don't think this year I have the same gripe with John Henry that I've had in the past.
00:51John Henry flew to Kansas City.
00:52I actually applaud him for that.
00:53He spent money on Bregman.
00:55They traded for Crochet and extended him.
00:57I think there's less criticism for Henry this year personally for me,
01:01but that's one that I put on ownership and management.
01:04Why aren't these guys here?
01:05Yeah, they should be.
01:06They're manipulating service time, and if you start to see it,
01:08Nick pointed this out the other day, Jordan Lawler is now up with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
01:13That's a top prospect.
01:14The Cubs just called up by Asteros.
01:16That's a top prospect.
01:17The time is now.
01:18We're all around it.
01:18The Red Sox aren't the only team doing it, but a lot of teams are starting to do it.
01:21This is the time where you see those kids called up.
01:23How do you fix it?
01:24You get the talented guys who you're wasting in AAA up here to spark the team
01:28and actually improve the talent level.
01:30That's how you do it.
01:31Yeah, I agree.
01:31I think both those guys should be up, and whether they're playing first, DH, outfield, second base,
01:36figure that out.
01:37Right.
01:37That's your issue.
01:38Figure that out.
01:39I don't want Meyer at first.
01:40I think that's a waste.
01:40But if it gets him up here, put him at first.
01:42Yeah, right.
01:43If Devers won't do it, get him up here and put him at first.
01:47It's annoying at this point.
01:49Because this team last year was, what did they finish?
01:52Were they 500?
01:53A couple games over 500?
01:54They were 81-81, I think.
01:55Dead at 500.
01:56So you would think, considering that there are three big signings this offseason,
02:02well, I guess one was a trade, but there are three big acquisitions.
02:04Garrett Crochet has been great.
02:06Right?
02:06A couple starts where you're like, oh, what was that?
02:07But overall, great.
02:09Alex Pregman, great.
02:10Or Aldis Chapman, much to our surprise.
02:12Great.
02:13Yeah, that one surprises me.
02:14So you add those three guys, you would think, all right, that takes a 500 team,
02:17and that's an easy boost up.
