Yes, it's not a typo, you read that right. Recently, a dog was sent to a vet to undergo medical treatment after being bitten by a disorderly man who had violated his restraining order in Kfar Saba, Israel.
According to ‘Y Net News’, cops were called to a private residence where the man threatened to jump from a window and use a screw driver as a weapon. Officers apprehended the suspect, but he became out of control once again at the station. The K9 was brought in and after a scuffle, the suspect bit the poor dog!
The suspect’s charges now include assaulting a police dog and insulting on duty police officers on top of the initial restraining order breach charge.
Not surprisingly, there have been similar instances in other parts of the world.
In 2007, a 65-year-old male in Southern India saw a rabid dog getting away with his duck. A fight ensued - the man bit that dog while the dog grabbed his palm.
In 2011, a man was arrested after biting a python and later in an interview with CBS13, he commented "I feel horrible as hell about it. If I can get out of here, I'd like to pay for (the snake's owners') pet bills"
