It’s hard to imagine what goes through the mind of a criminal. One would think that the offender would want to look inconspicuous.
Well that wasn’t the case for a 41-year-old Florida man who stirred up some trouble early Wednesday morning. Charles Snowden was wearing ripped boxer shorts, when a woman living near Ormond Beach allegedly awoke to find the near-naked, complete stranger standing in her kitchen and rifling through her drawers. Snowden, oblivious to the fact he was being watched by the terrified homeowner, left the house empty-handed. The woman called 911 directly after Snowden’s departure. Police found the suspect nearby and arrested him. Snowden told officers he was looking for tennis balls for a friend’s dog and claimed he took his clothes off because they had become wet from pressure washing.
Underwear was worn in another burglary earlier in May, however not in the traditional sense. Surveillance video from a coffee shop in Fruitland, Idaho showed two males burglarizing the store, one of which had a pair of undies on his head.
