Justin Bieber is the latest celebrity to sign up for a Virgin Galactic suborbital flight. He will reportedly be taking the trip with his manager, Scooter Braun.

Justin Bieber is young, famous and rich. And according to Richard Branson, the pop star is the latest celebrity to sign up for a Virgin Galactic suborbital flight.

Bieber will reportedly be taking the trip with his manager, Scooter Braun. The announcement was made via Twitter by Branson.

Bieber retweeted the message, apparently verifying that he is indeed heading to space. More than 530 have signed up for the trips thus far.

Ashton Kutcher was number 500 on the list. Leonardo DiCaprio along with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are a few more celebs who are slated to take the Virgin space tour.

None of the flights have yet taken off so the eager travelers are forced to wait. Virgin is hoping to conduct a test flight at the end of 2013.

Back in February, Bieber claimed he wanted to do a concert in space. One of his recent tweets noted “Let’s shoot a music video in SPACE!!”.

Evidently, he’s very excited about his upcoming flight.
