Officers, suspecting she was intoxicated, decided to speak with her. She claimed to have been on a pub crawl, dressed as an abusive spouse.
When police learned that her boyfriend was inside and they had a designated driver, the couple was urged to go home. The pair gathered their things, but a short time later, cops heard arguing right outside the building.
They went to investigate and noticed Crespo beating her boyfriend, who was dressed as an abused husband, with her purse, while screaming at him. She was arrested and charged with domestic violence.
She has since been released after putting up a portion of her bond, but she has been ordered to have no contact with her boyfriend.
