Champion boxer Floyd Mayweather has found himself in a fight of a different kind after posting comments on Instagram about women, clothing, and respect.

In it he said, “How a female dresses is an advertisement. If a female shows half of her body, she’s asking to be disrespected.”
Mayweather also offered that if a woman wants to be treated like a lady, ‘classy’ attire is the way to go.
His open letter to women everywhere did raise some eyebrows and a few tempers.
One respondent simply acknowledged that it was the dumbest thing they’d ever heard.
Mayweather has a bit of a history when it comes to making skewed commentary about females.
In a recent documentary, he noted that lots of people keep 10 cars in their garage. Even though they don’t drive them all at once, they are able to maintain them.
He said the same logic should apply to how many women one chooses to keep around.
On the matter of being in public half dressed, it’s been pointed out that Mayweather has in the past posted pictures of himself taking a bubble bath, and certainly not doing so in a 3-piece suit.
