Beachgoers Work Together To Rescue A Beached Shark

Beachgoers in Chatham, Massachusetts found a 7-foot long great white shark on the sand, and helped keep it alive until conservation workers arrived.

Beachgoers in Chatham, Massachusetts were met with an unusual sight on Monday. 

An approximately 7-foot-long live great white shark had gotten stranded.

Though sharks are known to get into a bit of trouble when swimming in shallow waters, ending up beached is quite rare.

When harbormaster Stuart Smith arrived at the scene, he saw about 30 or 40 people working together to keep the shark alive.
