Syria: US to Review Military Training Programs

The United States has admitted that military training programs for Syrian fighters are under review given that their goals have not been met. It has spent close to US$500 million on the program that aims to launch a ground war against the Islamic State by training around 3,500 fighters in a three-year period. Most of the first group of fighters were either abducted or killed. Critics say that the program has not only failed to stop the terrorists, but in fact has increased the number of those who want to join their ranks. Hazem Abdullah reports from Damascus for teleSUR.
