The white hickory tussock moth caterpillar is a recent Canadian immigrant to the U.S. that looks interesting and cuddly—but it’s full of venom contained in its hairs. 
Many Pennsylvanians are experiencing the wrath of this new arrival.
Dr. Joseph Betz of Pittsburgh, said, “There have been many reported cases. None of them fatal, but all strange, new and concerning." 
If you come into contact with one, it's likely to leave an annoying rash.
