Norway Named World’s Best Country To Live In

The United Nations has released its Human Development Index. Once again, and for the 12th time since 2001, Norway takes the top spot.

The United Nations has released its 2015 Human Development Index. 

Researchers assessed and ranked 188 countries based on how healthy a lifestyle they offer, the ease at which one can obtain knowledge, and overall living standards.

Once again, and for the 12th time since 2001, Norway takes the top spot. 

The report specifically mentions the nation’s increased incomes, largely evenly distributed earnings, investments in education and healthcare, and average lifespan of 81.6 years.

2nd place goes to Australia, which earned a score of 0.935, just shy of the .944 awarded to Norway.
