U.S. Records 30-Year High In Suicide Rate

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control recently issued a report which found that suicide rates increased among most groups under the age of 75 in 2014 compared to 1999; whites, women, and middle-aged segments appeared to be particularly affected by this trend.

Suicides in the U.S. have risen to a rate of 13 per 100,000 people which has not been documented since 1986, reports the New York Times.
