HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN KARAHI RECIPE IN URDU/HINDI

Today’s we are making to you is chicken karahi.

Chicken karahi, also known as gosht karahi (when prepared with goat or lambmeat instead of chicken), and kadai chicken, is a dish from the Indian subcontinent noted for its spicy taste; it is notable in Pakistani and North Indiancuisine. The Pakistani version does not have capsicum or onions whereas the North Indian version uses capsicum. The dish is prepared in a karahi (wok). It can take between 30 and 50 minutes to prepare and cook the dish and can be stored for later consumption. It can be served with naan, roti or rice. This dish is one of the hallmarks of Indian and Pakistani cuisine.
Ingredients
.Chicken 1/2 kg
.Oil 1 cup
.Ginger 2-3” inch long(chopped)
.garlic paste1 tblsp
.Salt 1 tsp
.Tomatoes(timater)4-5 medium size(chopped)
.Onion(piyaz) 1large (chopped)
.Green chilli (harri mirch) 3-4
.Turmeric pwd (haldi) ½ tsp
.Red chilli pwd (pisi hoi mirch) 2tsp
.Colves 4-5
.Black pepper10-12
.Cumin:1 tsp(roasted crushed)
.curry leaves:10-12
Fresh Coriander Some green chilli And Ginger for garnishing.
Method
.Take a pot and add oil in it.
.Now heat oil,add onion make it soft on medium flame.
.Now take garlic paste and bhunny it add tomato and spices (red chili,turmeric pwd,salt, colve,black pepper.
.Now bhunny it more until all mix together.
.Now add chicken or bhunny.
.Now rest it on slow flame(about 5-10mint).
.Now oil is getting out form curry.
.Now add ginger,curry leaves,green chili and crushed roasted cumin(zeera).
.Now let the lid on it now slow flame (5-10mints).
.Now dish out your chicken karahi garnish it with ginger,green chili.
.it’s ready to serve with milky naan,tandoori roti…..
