Learn how to make खान्ड़वी - Gujarati Khandvi recipe at home with Chef Toral Rindani on Swaad Anusaar.

Khandvi is a traditional Gujarati snack recipe made with just a few ingredients. It is one of the most popular snack in the western regions of India. The mouth watering recipe can be found on every street of Gujarat. Do try this at home and share your feedback in the comments below.

Ingredients:
200 grams Gram flour
1 cup Curd
2 cup Water
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
2-3 tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
4-5 Curry leaves
3-4 Green Chillies
Coriander leaves for garnishing

Method of preparation:
In a bowl add gram flour, curd, water turmeric powder, salt and mix well.
See to it that there are no lumps formed.
Heat a vessel and cook the gram flour mixture on low flame.
Cook and keep stirring the mixture until it turns thick.
Spread the hot mixture on a flat surface.
Cut it into broad strips, once it cools down.
Start rolling it with light hands.
Heat oil in a vessel, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chillies.
Spread the tempering on the Khandvi and garnish it with coriander leaves.
Our Khandvi is ready to eat.
