Ingredients:-
2 tbsp Ghee
1 inch Cinnamon stick
5-6 Black Pepper
2-3 Cloves
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
1 Onion, chopped
2 Green Chillies, chopped
1 tsp Ginger paste
1 tsp Garlic paste
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Red Chilli powder
1 Tomato, finely chopped
1 1/2 cup Mix Vegetable, chopped
1 cup Rice + 1 cup Moong Dal, soaked
1/4 tsp Garam Masala
4 cups Water
Salt to taste
Method:-
Heat ghee in a cooker, add cinnamon stick, black pepper, cloves, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, onion, saute it till the onions turn pink.
Add green chillies, ginger paste, garlic paste, saute them till the raw smell goes away.
Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, tomato, mix vegetable, dal, rice, saute them for 2-3 minutes.
Add garam masala, water, salt, mix well and pressure cook it for 3-4 whistles.
Once the cooker cools down, open the lid, mix the khichdi and serve it on a plate.
