Hindus across India and abroad are gearing up for one of their most significant festivals – Janmashtami, to commemorate the birthday of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu. Prasad or Naivedyam plays a significant role in the prayers during Janmashtami puja. Of all the prasad's prepared during this pious day, Poha Ladoo is considered to be one of the most important prasad. Made up of Ghee, Dryfruits and of course Poha(Flattened-Rice), Poha ladoo is superficially Rich, Healthy and Tasty Ladoo which takes only 15 minutes to make and can be consumed any time of the day.

Ingredients:
- 2 cups Flattened Rice
- 3/4 cup Jaggery
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
- 1/4 cup Cashew Nuts and Almonds(crushed)
- 3 tbsp Ghee
Method:
1. Heat a medium-sized pan and roast poha in it for around 5 minutes
2. After the poha/flattened rice is roasted, take it out in a bowl and let it cool down completely
3. Now, take the roasted poha and grind it along with jaggery and take it out in a big bowl
4. Add cardamom powder, crushed dry fruits (cashew nuts & almonds), ghee in the poha & jaggery mixture and mix all of this
5. Once the ladoo mixture is mixed properly, start making ladoos out of it with your hands
