00:06We try to be as flexible as we can be.
00:08It's really important, the flexibility.
00:10And a big barrier is time.
00:13Students have families.
00:16They have jobs. They have lives.
00:18So the expectation has to be within those parameters.
00:23The students are coming quite a distance to get there,
00:25and then there is no food provided in the location that we're in,
00:29so you have to arrange for it.
00:32So that is a support as well so that they can stay for the day.
00:36I'm absolutely amazed, and it took me years to figure this out,
00:40that our student learners,
00:42when you look at what they are in our program for,
00:46these are adults with families who are working.
00:49They're not getting paid to come here, to P.A.L.S.
00:52They're not getting a "you pass great such and such."
00:56What they're getting is they're learning
00:59and their lives, also, at times become difficult,
01:02and if they withdraw
01:04or pull back for a few months, that's fine,
01:08they can come back in the program.
