Seeking a 5 minute mile training plan that will finally you under the sub 5 minute mile? I highly recommend listening to this video and following the strategies I discuss in it. I am a marathoner but did run 4:22 for the mile in college and 4:25 as a high school senior so do understand what it takes to run a mile under 5 minutes.

The key to breaking the 5 min mile is to train smart, be patient and following a specific plan to get you the results you desire. It certainly helps to have a laid out plan that you can follow on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. I believe in a 10-day rather than a 3-week taper which often times leads athletes to feel fatigued and lethargic. I discuss the types of workouts that will be contained within this sub 5 min mile training program in this video. The key is to ensure you train smarter rather than harder and get that 4.59.99 or better time.
