00:00 Hi everyone, welcome back to the makeup chair.
00:01 Last Monday's makeup lesson was how to apply
00:03 a full face of makeup using one brush,
00:05 and so many of you said, can you do this for the eyes?
00:08 So here I have my favorite brush,
00:09 which is the E26 by Blanchemas Cosmetic.
00:11 It's a flat, dense, soft, fluffy,
00:15 everything kind of brush in one.
00:17 It is pretty much the only thing that you need.
00:19 I really hope you guys enjoy this.
00:21 I'm gonna show you guys how to do this look step by step,
00:23 but let's get started.
00:24 So the very first thing that we wanna do
00:25 is just to prime our eyelids.
00:26 You can use concealer or you can use a primer.
00:28 And then our first shadow that we're gonna use
00:30 is called Lace.
00:31 Go for something quite close to your skin tone.
00:33 What you wanna do is just do little wiggles
00:35 just to dip it in there, pick up the product.
00:38 You can tap off the excess.
00:40 So don't just tap it into the air,
00:41 'cause then you can just pick it up again
00:43 if you need a little bit extra.
00:44 And then you can apply this all over the lid.
00:46 And I'm doing just a smooth stroke all over the lid,
00:49 from the lid right up to the brow bone,
00:52 and then you can reapply if you need to.
00:53 You always wanna make sure you start off
00:55 with your lighter shades
00:56 so that your brush doesn't get dirty.
00:58 When we're moving up a shade,
00:59 this is just a matte shadow
01:00 that's gonna go in the crease.
01:01 When we're applying anything in the crease,
01:03 what we wanna do is just use the very tip of the brush,
01:05 just tip it in there just like that,
01:06 just to get it right on here.
01:08 And then you can work it back slowly back into the crease.
01:12 Holding your brush correctly
01:13 can make a huge difference to your application.
01:15 You wanna hold the brush quite far up
01:17 so you don't have a lot of movement
01:18 and you're just really concentrating in one area.
01:20 Then you wanna move down the handle a little bit
01:23 and then you have a little bit more of a motion
01:24 over and back.
01:25 Move down a little bit more
01:26 and you just get freer motion as you move down.
01:29 Sometimes I literally hold it by the very tip of the brush
01:32 and I'll just work it over and back
01:33 because you get a very soft little motion.
01:36 Frees up all these little bristles
01:38 to kind of move softly
01:39 and get kind of an airbrushed effect.
01:41 Now we're gonna move on to our darkest shade.
01:43 Once again, we're just getting the very tip of the brush
01:46 in here, just to pick it up very lightly.
01:48 And we're gonna work this on the outer corner
01:50 and then into the crease.
01:51 Now I'm holding it quite far up
01:52 because I want to make sure
01:53 I'm getting it right into the crease.
01:55 Hold it down a little bit further
01:57 and just work it over and back.
01:58 Because when you first apply it,
02:00 you're gonna get a lot of pigment.
02:01 And then when you move the brush down lower,
02:03 you're not gonna have too much product on here
02:05 so you can get a softer motion
02:07 and you're just gonna blend what's already been applied.
02:09 I wanna warm up the crease a little bit
02:11 and this is just gonna give us a nice warm blend.
02:13 This is going higher than our darker shade.
02:16 That's the thing that most people
02:17 are gonna get confused with.
02:18 They tend to put their darker shades
02:19 too far up in the crease.
02:21 You wanna have your darker shades into the crease
02:23 and then a fade or a warmth
02:25 or something like that above that.
02:26 Once again, I've gone into the tip of the brush
02:28 and worked over and back above that darker shade.
02:31 And it's okay that the brush is a little bit dirty
02:34 because as long as it's not dirty at the start,
02:36 it shouldn't affect your eyeshadows.
02:37 It should actually help with blending.
02:39 You don't have to clean the brush
02:41 in between each application.
02:42 But if you do have a lot of buildup on here,
02:45 just literally brush it off.
02:46 I'm applying that darker shade
02:48 and then a little bit of that warmer shade
02:49 underneath the eye.
02:50 And you might think you can't use a brush like this
02:52 because it's too full for working underneath the eye.
02:54 You can just squash this down
02:56 and then just hold it to brush it right underneath there.
03:00 Now if you've got a lot of space like I do,
03:01 I'm just gonna squash it down
03:03 just to make sure it's nice and flat.
03:05 And then I'm gonna go in with my shadows.
03:06 So every time I pick up a little bit of extra shadow,
03:09 I just squash it down
03:10 just to make sure that it is staying flat.
03:12 Because as you blend, the bristles will open.
03:15 That is how to do an eye look using just one brush.
03:17 If you'd like to suggest any other videos,
03:20 then you can just leave a comment
03:21 because I love hearing from you guys.
03:22 You can also check the videos up here.
03:24 Bye.
03:25 This is the E26.
03:26 E26.
03:27 E26 we're gonna use is called Lace.
03:29 Go for something quite close to your skin tone.
03:31 What you wanna do is just do little wiggles
03:33 just to dip it in there, pick up the product.
03:36 You can tap off the excess.
03:38 So don't just tap it into the air
03:39 'cause then you can just pick it up again
03:41 if you need a little bit extra.
03:42 And then you can apply this all over the lid.
03:44 And I'm doing just a smooth stroke all over the lid,
03:47 from the lid right up to the brow bone.
03:50 And then you can reapply if you need to.
03:51 You always wanna make sure you start off
03:53 with your lighter shades
03:54 so that your brush doesn't get dirty.
03:56 So we're moving up a shade.

04:10 Holding your brush correctly
04:11 can make a huge difference to your application.
04:13 You wanna hold the brush quite far up
04:15 so you don't have a lot of movement
04:16 and you're just really concentrating in one area.
04:18 Then you wanna move down the handle a little bit
04:21 and then you have a little bit more of a motion
04:22 over and back.
04:23 Move down a little bit more
04:24 and you just get freer motion as you move down.
04:27 Sometimes I literally hold it by the very tip of the brush
04:30 and I'll just work it over and back
04:31 because you get a very soft little motion.
04:34 Freeze up all these little bristles
04:36 to kind of move softly and get kind of an airbrushed effect.
04:39 Now we're gonna move on to our darkest shade.
04:41 Once again, we're just getting the very tip of the brush

04:49 Now I'm holding it quite far up
04:50 because I want to make sure
04:51 I'm getting it right into the crease.
04:53 Hold it down a little bit further
04:55 and just work it over and back
04:56 because when you first apply Blank Canvas Cosmetic,
04:58 it's a flat, dense, soft, fluffy,
05:02 everything kind of brush in one.
05:04 It is pretty much the only thing that you need.
05:06 I really hope you guys enjoy this.
