अपूर्वा अलाटकर हिला पुणे मेट्रो चालवणारी पहिला महिला असा बहुमान मिळाला आहे. पुण्यातील वनाज येथील मेट्रो मार्गाचं उद्घाटन पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदींच्या हस्ते पार पडलं. त्यावेळी लोकोपायलट अपूर्वा अलाटकरने पुणे मेट्रोचं सारथ्य केलं. अपूर्वा मुळची सातारची आहे. एका मध्यमवर्गीय कुटुंबातील मुलीने थेट मेट्रोच्या चालकपदाचीच धुरा सांभाळल्याने तिचं सर्वत्र कौतुक होत आहे.
