Bobblehead cat is real!

00:00 They are wobbly and were born with a condition called cerebellar hypoplasia.
00:04 It's not believed to cause any pain. They just move a little differently. Their mom was a feral
00:08 cat living in the warehouse. They heard some noise in the wall and took the wall out to pull
00:12 these tiny little kittens out. Rosie, Daisy, and Calvin were taken in to rescue. I met the trio
00:18 in 2016 when I was a rescue volunteer doing adoption photos and they needed a foster caregiver
00:24 and they've stayed with me ever since. Calvin is probably the most demanding for attention.
00:30 He loves to carry his toys around.
00:33 He's always down for play time. A lot of fun to have around. Rosie is sweet and super cuddly.
00:43 She's the one that'll come in for kisses and it's so cute. Daisy is the most affected of the three.
00:53 So for her, she needs a little more help in life and she moves a little slower to get around but
00:58 she is so determined and always gets where she's going. It just takes her a little longer. Did you
01:03 work so hard to get here? Calvin, that's naughty. They are the sweetest three cats I could have ever
01:12 welcomed into my home. So the whole notion of cats being aloof is not the case with this.
01:18 For wobbly cats, falling is a part of their life. So it's a matter of providing cushion for those
01:24 falls and minimize the risk of falling off higher places that could cause injury. Should we go get
01:28 you your breakfast? I got them modified litter boxes that had low entry and high sides. I had
01:38 a custom cat tower made that's a lower height and it has extra steps to make it easier to climb.
01:45 Should we go get breakfast? Okay, let's go. I put down more rugs in the kitchen and bathroom just so
01:51 they weren't falling down all the time or getting hurt. I would love for people to know that caring
01:55 for special needs cats is so rewarding. Rosie, I feel like, always thinks it's her house. She will
02:03 keep the peace. She will demand respect. But also Calvin thinks he is the boss because, you know,
02:11 he is just, he's just him. Are you waiting for pets? He's confident, independent, but also not
02:22 independent. They're black with white paws and white noses and white chest so it looks like
02:33 they're fancy dressers. That combined with Calvin's high prance, I always thought he was like,
02:38 you know, well suited fancy cat. CH cats tend to be extremely loving and sweet-natured and
02:44 therefore the perfect pet in spite of being a little bit differently abled.
02:47 I love you.
