00:28 as he flashed a big smile at the event

00:30 that drew celebrities as well as local police

00:32 and firefighters.

00:33 The flagship festival was headlined by Maroon 5

00:36 and helped raise funds to go towards supporting

00:38 first responders throughout the county,

00:40 per the official website.

00:41 The Oscar winner was previously set

00:43 to initially host the festivities with Baumgartner,

00:46 but due to their recent split, he took on the big role.

00:49 Costner was also given an honorary award during the event,

00:52 which was presented by Prince Harry and wife, Meghan Markle,

00:55 who were also in attendance.

00:56 1-805 is an organization that was founded in 2018

01:00 and aims to raise proceeds

01:02 for three of the first responder groups,

01:04 including fire, police, as well as sheriff,

01:06 throughout the county of Santa Barbara.

01:08 Kevin's multimillion dollar estate was a hot topic

01:11 in the actor's recent divorce battle with ex,

01:13 Christine Baumgartner,

01:14 who notably filed for divorce earlier in May.

01:17 Earlier this week, the former couple came

01:19 to an amicable settlement to end their divorce fight.

01:22 However, they are due to back in court on Wednesday

01:24 to make a few finalizations.

01:26 The couple had been due to thrash it out

01:27 over whether Baumgartner, 49,

01:29 would be awarded $855,000 to pay her legal bills,

01:33 something that has now been taken off the table.

01:35 Nevertheless, the scheduled hearing is still due to go ahead

01:39 with Judge Thomas Anderle likely to be given details

01:41 of the settlement prior to signing off on it.

01:43 The warring couple made the shock announcement on Tuesday,

01:46 saying in a statement, "Kevin and Christine Costner

01:49 "have come to an amicable and mutually agreed

01:51 "on resolution of all issues pertaining

01:53 "to their divorce proceedings."

01:55 According to TMZ, the agreement includes

01:57 a bigger cash settlement for Baumgartner,

01:59 who was originally to be paid a lump sum of $1.5 million

02:03 and a year's worth of mortgage payments

02:05 towards a home worth up to $1 million

02:07 per their prenuptial agreement.

02:08 The new settlement is likely to be similar

02:10 to the one previously offered by Costner

02:13 in a letter sent on June 30,

02:14 which would have paid her $75,000 a month in child support.

02:18 The mom of three rejected that,

02:20 wanting child support set at $161,000 a month,

02:24 only for the amount to be halved following a hearing

02:26 at the start of September.

02:27 Baumgartner had also wanted to challenge

02:29 the prenuptial agreement with a trial over its validity

02:31 due to take place in December,

02:33 although that will no longer happen.

02:35 The surprise settlement comes less than two weeks

02:37 after Baumgartner vowed to fight on

02:39 after a setback over child support

02:41 that saw her temporary payments of $129,000 a month

02:45 slashed in half to $63,000.

02:47 In his decision, Judge Anderle said he approved

02:50 the lower figure, which had been championed

02:52 by Costner's team, because he believed

02:53 the higher amount was disguised spousal support.

02:56 On Tuesday, a friend told DailyMail.com

02:59 that Baumgartner had agreed to settle

03:01 because Costner has all the power.

03:03 The friend explained, "Christine didn't really have a choice

03:05 "but to settle because Kevin had all the power.

03:07 "Had she continued fighting,

03:09 "she would risk losing everything.

03:10 "Christine said it is what it is,

03:12 "that she won't miss going to court

03:13 "and having sleepless nights.

03:15 "She said for the kids it's a win

03:16 "because no child wants to go through this,

03:18 "let alone in public.

03:19 "She was the one who wanted to settle things

03:21 "outside of court in the first place.

03:23 "She never wanted any of this circus.

03:25 "It's been a living nightmare

03:26 "and now she just wants to move on

03:28 "and start fresh and begin making her new house a home."

03:30 Last week, Christine officially began moving

03:33 her personal belongings to her $40,000 a month rental

03:36 in Santa Barbara.

03:37 She moved to the new temporary luxury rental home

03:40 after she was ordered to vacate

03:41 their $145 million California compound

03:45 and has previously claimed that the new place of residence

03:48 isn't good enough for her family.

03:49 The spacious house notably sits on one acre of land

03:52 and has an assortment of amenities,

03:54 such as a jacuzzi,

03:55 is also located next to a wooded hiking trail.

03:58 A large truck and movers were seen parked

04:00 outside of the residence

04:01 as they started to unload Christine's furniture

04:03 and other items.

04:04 Christine had argued in a recent court hearing

04:06 with her ex, Kevin, also in attendance,

04:09 that the Oscar winners beachfront mansion

04:11 was far more superior to her own $40,000 a month rental.

04:15 While the home has four bedrooms,

04:17 picturesque gardens, custom designed interiors,

04:19 a swimming pool and a pool house,

04:21 she explained that guests would still have to go

04:23 to the main home to use the shower.

04:25 Baumgartner claimed that in the rental home,

04:27 her two sons would have to share a bathroom

04:28 while her daughter will share hers with the house.

04:30 During the course of their nearly 19 year marriage,

04:33 the "Dances with Wolves" star

04:35 and his estranged wife welcomed children,

04:37 Caden, 16, Hayes, 14 and Grace, 13.

04:41 She further argued during the court hearing

04:42 that she wanted her children to have a comparable lifestyle

04:45 that they had before the separation.

04:47 In his testimony,

04:48 Costner said the property was comparable

04:50 to his own luxury home in nearby Carpentaria

04:53 and said it even has features he would like in his own house.

04:55 The court also heard details of the family's lavish spending

04:58 which totaled $240,000 a month in 2022.
