00:00 The Elimination Chamber is one of WWE's greatest creations.
00:04 A unique concept combining the Elimination aspect of Survivor Series
00:08 with the violence and confinement of Hell in a Cell,
00:10 while also including every WWE fan's favorite thing...
00:14 counting.
00:15 They really love to count along.
00:17 It'll be 20 years since the first Elimination Chamber match hit the airwaves at Survivor Series 2002,
00:22 and since then there have been dozens of men and women who have stepped inside,
00:26 only to come out covered in boo-boos.
00:28 The big boo-boos have become less frequent in recent years,
00:31 but the actual match itself has seen a bit of a resurgence in quality.
00:35 The cage may look like a toy,
00:37 but the Chamber matches in 2017, 2019, and 2020 have all been bangers,
00:42 helping to re-establish the Elimination Chamber as appointment viewing.
00:45 However, they cannot all be this good.
00:47 The Chamber has been a representation of the good, bad, average, and abominable of WWE over the years,
00:53 and today we look at every single man and woman responsible for these matches.
00:57 So lock yourself in a pod, kick your feet up,
00:59 and try not to knock out a pane of totally indestructible bulletproof glass.
01:03 This is gonna be a long one.
01:05 I'm Tempest Haling from PartsFunKnown,
01:07 and this is every Elimination Chamber participant ever ranked.
01:11 Do you want to get ranked yourself?
01:13 Well subscribe to PartsFunKnown, and I'll rank you #1.
01:16 Click, click, there, you've done it!
01:18 You're #1. Congratulations.
01:20 169, Bob Hawley, December to Dismember.
01:23 Nothing like replacing Sabu on an ECW atrocity of a pay-per-view with Bob "Sparky Plug" Hawley.
01:29 He couldn't even be eliminated right.
01:31 168, Big Daddy V, No Way Out 2008.
01:34 If you want to see what King Mabel looked like at the end of his WWE career, well, here it is.
01:39 Was Kane not available for this match or something?
01:42 167, R-Truth, Elimination Chamber 2015.
01:45 R-Truth has a bad track record in these matches,
01:48 and this was the worst performance of arguably the worst Chamber match.
01:51 166, Big Show, December to Dismember 2006.
01:55 ECW Champion, The Big Show. Says it all right there, doesn't it?
01:59 165, Mark Henry, Elimination Chamber 2015.
02:03 It's kind of shocking that 20-year vet Mark Henry looked like such a deer in the headlights when his pod opened,
02:09 and this match subsequently fell apart.
02:11 164, The Great Khali, No Way Out 2008.
02:14 Aw, man.
02:15 163, The Great Khali, Elimination Chamber 2012.
02:19 Aw, man. They did it again!
02:21 162, Vladimir Kozlov, No Way Out 2009.
02:25 Hey, this was the first time Vladimir Kozlov got pinned in WWE.
02:29 Took them long enough.
02:30 161, Test, December to Dismember.
02:33 There really isn't much keeping Test out of the bottom spot,
02:35 but he killed RVD with a flying chair shot, and it looked kind of neat.
02:39 160, Wade Barrett, Elimination Chamber 2015.
02:42 He got eliminated first, but in this match he may have been thankful.
02:45 159, Dolph Ziggler, Elimination Chamber 2015.
02:49 Dolph appears to try and quarterback the second half of this match,
02:52 giving directions to everyone and trying to salvage this debacle.
02:55 Well, you can call him Mike Glennon, 'cause this was some bad quarterbacking,
02:59 and I guarantee that is the only time you will ever hear Mike Glennon's name on this channel.
03:03 158, Mike Knox, No Way Out 2009.
03:06 I don't know if there's ever been a less threatening monster than Mike Knox.
03:11 This was the end of his 2009 three-week push, and really, we can't blame them.
03:15 157, Bobby Lashley, December to Dismember.
03:18 Bobby Lashley sure has come a long way from winning this wretched match.
03:22 He has spots with Test and Big Show in front of the most hostile, mostly empty building you've ever seen.
03:27 156, R-Truth, Elimination Chamber 2010.
03:30 Hey, Oli, what's up?
03:32 What's up?
03:33 155, R-Truth, Elimination Chamber 2012.
03:36 What's up?
03:37 What's up?
03:38 154, Elimination Chamber 2011.
03:41 What's up?
03:42 Seriously, what's up, man?
03:43 153 to 150, Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, Ruby Wright, and Natalia, Elimination Chamber 2020.
03:50 These four get grouped together because they all share the same purpose,
03:53 to have their souls eaten by Shayna Baszler while getting in minimal offense.
03:57 Logan dives off the pod.
03:59 She also just about kills Natalia, though.
04:01 149, Los Matadors, Elimination Chamber 2015.
04:04 They entered fourth and were eliminated first.
04:06 They had a bull on top of their pod like a good luck totem, though.
04:09 148, Big Show, Elimination Chamber 2012.
04:12 As mid-card fodder, Big Show is acceptable.
04:15 As the workhorse tasked with carrying the beginning of this match
04:18 with a plodding, heatless exchange with Wade Barrett,
04:20 the hardest of hard passes.
04:22 147, Sheamus, Elimination Chamber 2015.
04:25 Sheamus sits higher than most of his 2015 cohorts
04:27 because while his pod not opening only caused more problems for this match,
04:31 it meant that he got to avoid participating in this match for a little bit.
04:34 146, Ryback, Elimination Chamber 2015.
04:37 While Ryback did not get to skip out on this train wreck,
04:40 he did win the thing to win his only title in WWE.
04:43 Imagine showing this match to someone as your crowning achievement.
04:46 145, Elias, Elimination Chamber 2018.
04:50 I think you all might get tired of the phrase "mid-card fodder" by the end of this list.
04:54 144, Chris Masters, New Year's Revolution 2006.
04:57 Chris Masters seems like a nice enough guy,
04:59 but man, was he ever miscast as this main event heel in early 2006.
05:03 He eliminated Kane!
05:05 143, JBL, No Way Out 2008.
05:08 I don't think the fact that this match really gets going once JBL is eliminated
05:12 is an endorsement of his work.
05:14 142, Nia Jax and Tamina, Elimination Chamber 2019.
05:18 You might think Nia Jax and Tamina in a big hard box would be a recipe for disaster,
05:22 but honestly, it was fine.
05:24 Still wasn't good, but it certainly wasn't a train wreck.
05:27 141, Kevin Nash, SummerSlam 2003.
05:30 Kevin Nash's WWE run in 2003 is such a beaver dream.
05:34 Commentary does a good job of putting over that Nash is a street fighter,
05:38 rather than a grappler, and honestly, in a match like this, I think that's fine.
05:41 140, Naomi and Carmella, Elimination Chamber 2019.
05:45 The team that was thrown together because they had one more pod to fill.
05:48 The work was fine, but going out first does hurt their standing.
05:51 This is also about where the Mendoza line of the Elimination Chamber exists,
05:55 where everything prior to this was pretty bad,
05:57 and now we're heading into average or uneventful territory, folks.
06:00 139, Mandy Rose, Elimination Chamber 2018.
06:04 There is significance to competing in the first ever Women's Elimination Chamber match,
06:08 but this match was not designed to feature Mandy Rose, who was eliminated first.
06:11 138, The Ascension, Elimination Chamber 2015.
06:14 Man, the beginning of this chamber match was an NXT reunion.
06:17 Yeah, The Ascension versus the Lucha Dragons.
06:20 NXT sure has changed, and changed again.
06:23 137, Sonya Deville, Elimination Chamber 2018.
06:27 Similar to her partner, Mandy, this match wasn't meant to showcase Sonya Deville,
06:31 but she had the benefit of being one of the opening two,
06:33 getting to share some quality one-on-one time with Bayley.
06:36 136, Cody Rhodes, Elimination Chamber 2012.
06:39 Cody Rhodes' lone Elimination Chamber appearance was a bit of a dull affair.
06:43 He eliminated The Big Show, which is solid,
06:45 but nothing in this chamber match had any heat besides Santino.
06:48 135, Big Show, Elimination Chamber 2011.
06:51 The chamber match for the Big Gold Belt in 2011 was exceptional,
06:54 one of the best in history.
06:56 However, the middle section of this match is a bit of a slog,
06:59 and Big Ol' Babyface Big Show had a lot to do with it.
07:02 134, King Corbin, Elimination Chamber 2021.
07:05 You know how Kevin Nash kinda sticks out
07:07 standing amidst Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, and Triple H?
07:10 King Corbin kinda sticks out the same way
07:12 when competing against Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, Kevin Owens,
07:15 Sami Zayn, and Jey Uso.
07:17 133, Rob Van Dam, December to Dismember.
07:20 This match is an absolute f***ing train wreck,
07:22 but Rob Van Dam is one of only two people in the match
07:25 that fans even remotely care about.
07:27 132, Baron Corbin, Elimination Chamber 2017.
07:30 This is another tremendous chamber match,
07:32 but Corbin wasn't in it long,
07:34 and really only set up his WrestleMania match with Dean Ambrose.
07:37 A match that took place on the pre-show.
07:39 131, Big Show, No Way Out 2009.
07:42 The chamber matches at No Way Out 2009 kinda parallel each other
07:46 in which this one has the s*** combo of Vladimir Kozlov and Big Show,
07:49 while Raw's had Mike Knox and Kane.
07:51 Take your pick which you prefer,
07:53 but it is easy to identify the weak parts of both of these matches.
07:56 Speaking of,
07:57 130, Kane, No Way Out 2009.
08:00 The other side of the large lumbering veteran coin was Kane.
08:03 He got a pretty cool elimination being hit with
08:05 Rey Mysterio's seated senton off the top of the pod.
08:07 Similar to Big Show being hit with a parade of finishers,
08:10 a good elimination goes a long way with regards to this list.
08:13 129, Wade Barrett, Elimination Chamber 2012.
08:16 Wade Barrett earns points for being eliminated by Santino Morella.
08:19 That is all.
08:20 128, Primetime Players, Elimination Chamber 2015.
08:23 Remember that summer that the Primetime Players got a big push
08:26 because Titus O'Neil won a Celebrity Dad of the Year award?
08:29 Runners up in a weak chamber match.
08:31 127, Dolph Ziggler, Elimination Chamber 2012.
08:34 This was the weird period of time where Dolph Ziggler still had potential,
08:37 would go on to win Money in the Bank that year,
08:39 but was still treated like absolute mid-card fodder until then.
08:42 126, Carlito, New Year's Revolution 2006.
08:45 Carlito eliminated 3 out of 5 competitors in this match
08:48 and was runner up after turning on Chris Masters and being pinned by John Cena.
08:52 If it wasn't such a weak chamber, this would have been very impressive.
08:55 125, Mickie James, Elimination Chamber 2018.
08:59 Mickie James added some veteran presence to the first ever Women's Chamber match
09:02 and managed to eliminate Sonya DeVille before being the third woman eliminated.
09:06 124, CM Punk, December to Dismember 2006.
09:09 CM Punk gets points for being the most over person in the match
09:12 and the person who should have won if Vince McMahon had the slightest shred of a clue.
09:16 123, Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler, Elimination Chamber 2020.
09:20 The Dirty Dogs didn't play a big role in the conclusion of this match
09:23 and were only really there to further the Dolph Ziggler/Otis storyline.
09:27 122, John Cena, Elimination Chamber 2018.
09:30 John Cena really didn't have a great showing in 2018
09:33 and this Elimination Chamber is a prime example of this.
09:36 John Cena being mid-card fodder just feels wrong,
09:39 but he was only there to be fed to Braun Strowman.
09:41 121, Sheamus, Elimination Chamber 2014.
09:45 Smiling happy Sheamus in 2014 is about as boring as can be,
09:49 but he got eliminated by a huge frog splash from Christian, so that's neat.
09:52 120, The Miz, Elimination Chamber 2017.
09:56 Another example of an average performance in an excellent match.
09:59 The Miz had not yet reignited his Wrestlemania feud with John Cena,
10:02 so he didn't have much to do in this match besides get eliminated.
10:05 119, Drew McIntyre, Elimination Chamber 2011.
10:09 Skinny Drew is so weird to look at after this transformation.
10:12 118, Wade Barrett, Elimination Chamber 2011.
10:16 Wade Barrett was challenging for the WWE Championship
10:18 in the main event of Survivor Series as the leader of the Nexus just 3 months before this.
10:22 He feels so unimportant as mid-card fodder from the core.
10:26 117, Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan, Elimination Chamber 2019.
10:30 A fairly average performance but suitable fodder to be fed to Nia Jax and Tamina.
10:35 At least the Riot Squad were an actual team.
10:37 116, Kane, Elimination Chamber 2011.
10:40 Kane was coming off his lone reign as World Heavyweight Champion
10:43 and thus treated like a bigger deal than he was in most other years.
10:46 Managed to eliminate Big Show and Drew McIntyre, so that's gotta count for something.
10:50 115, Kurt Angle, New Year's Revolution 2006.
10:54 It's pretty crazy to consider that this Chamber match,
10:56 which featured Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels and Kane,
10:59 saw them three eliminated first in favor of featuring Carlito and Chris Masters.
11:03 Angle was the first one eliminated. Yeesh.
11:06 114, Asuka, Elimination Chamber 2020.
11:10 Asuka ranked higher than the rest of the 2020 women
11:12 simply because she put up a bit more of a fight against Shayna Baszler
11:15 and she was the runner-up. Still not saying much for this match.
11:18 113, The Miz, Elimination Chamber 2018.
11:21 Hey, starting three in this match make up the triple threat match at WrestleMania 34.
11:26 How about that? First one out, fodder.
11:28 112, Sheamus, Elimination Chamber 2011.
11:31 There are a few memorable moments from the Raw Chamber match in 2011.
11:35 The only one to involve Sheamus, however, was his elimination
11:38 as John Morrison scaled the chamber and hit a crossbody or something to take Sheamus out.
11:43 111, The Lucha Dragons, Elimination Chamber 2015.
11:47 Aw, poor Carlito. He got stuck.
11:50 110, Booker T, Survivor Series 2002.
11:53 Booker T didn't do much in the first Elimination Chamber match
11:56 besides eliminating Rob Van Dam with a missile dropkick.
11:59 Also, when has anyone ever been beaten with a missile dropkick in this century?
12:03 Also worth noting, we've now reached the acceptable to decent chunk of this list.
12:07 109, The Miz, Elimination Chamber 2012.
12:10 To his credit, The Miz was the runner-up in this match, losing to CM Punk,
12:14 but this match had an especially weak field of participants.
12:17 108, Kane, New Year's Revolution 2006.
12:21 It took both Carlito and Chris Masters to beat him, but Kane sure got the last laugh.
12:25 Not in this match, but by beating them at WrestleMania 22 with Big Show by his side.
12:30 What a match to put on a marquee.
12:32 107, Randy Orton, Elimination Chamber 2021.
12:36 Orton started this match with Jeff Hardy, so that ignites 2008 nostalgia fire within me.
12:41 Orton always works well, but he was eliminated first at just 8 minutes into the match.
12:45 106, Kane, Survivor Series 2002.
12:49 For someone in the midst of a pretty decent push,
12:51 Kane barely did anything in the first Chamber match.
12:54 His pod opened before it was meant to, so perhaps if nothing went awry,
12:58 Kane could have made a bigger impact with the spots that they had planned.
13:01 105, Randy Orton, SummerSlam 2003.
13:05 Randy Orton was still a baby at SummerSlam 2003,
13:08 only 23 years old, in the Elimination Chamber, being fed to Goldberg.
13:13 Hard to consider Randy Orton to be mid-card fodder, but here he is.
13:17 104, Jeff Hardy, Elimination Chamber 2021.
13:20 Jeff Hardy had a pretty respectable Elimination Chamber performance,
13:24 starting with Randy Orton, and lasting 25 minutes squaring off against Raw's best.
13:28 103, The Iconics, Elimination Chamber 2019.
13:32 There was a strong case to be made for The Iconics to win this match,
13:35 but alas, they had to settle for merely being entertaining.
13:38 They eliminated Naomi and Carmella with a good pin, though.
13:41 102, Randy Orton, Elimination Chamber 2010.
13:44 Some may not remember, but there was real talk of Randy Orton being
13:48 WWE's next big babyface in early 2010.
13:51 Then, they drew out his babyface turn long enough that people stopped caring,
13:55 and then we got Orton hanging out with Meatloaf on Raw.
13:58 Anyway, he was eliminated by...
14:00 101, Ted DiBiase, Elimination Chamber 2010.
14:03 The legacy breakup angle ran through this chamber match,
14:06 with Ted DiBiase hitting Orton with a pipe and pinning him.
14:09 This didn't factor into the finish at all, but it gave them both something to do,
14:12 being eliminated first and second.
14:14 100, Kofi Kingston, Elimination Chamber 2021.
14:17 Kofi was talking up Randy's quads from inside his pod, and I laughed.
14:21 99, Kane, Elimination Chamber 2013.
14:24 Kane didn't come close to the finish, but the chamber allowed for another way
14:27 for Team Hell No to try and hug each other mid-match.
14:30 98, John Cena, No Way Out 2009.
14:33 This was a weird one to place, because damn, it sure was memorable and significant.
14:39 John Cena, established face of the company, eliminated in 90 seconds,
14:44 thus losing the World Heavyweight Championship.
14:47 To this day, this still feels like a simulation.
14:50 97, MVP, No Way Out 2008.
14:53 Back when MVP was a rising star on SmackDown, he tried to climb to escape The Undertaker.
14:58 That was a mistake.
14:59 96, Kofi Kingston, Elimination Chamber 2012.
15:03 Kofi got to start the match with former tag partner CM Punk,
15:06 and they had some fun spots before Kofi was eliminated by Chris Jericho at the 27 minute mark.
15:11 This was a weak chamber, but a strong starting pair is always a plus.
15:14 95, Heavy Machinery, Elimination Chamber 2020.
15:18 Heavy Machinery were actually one of the most over-teams in this match,
15:21 with Otis trying to seek revenge on Dolph Ziggler for that whole stealing yo girl thing.
15:26 Also, Otis is the Kool-Aid man, look at him go.
15:29 94, Sheamus, Elimination Chamber 2021.
15:32 Sheamus had a pretty respectable showing in the 2021 chamber match,
15:36 lasting until the final three, and having plenty of interaction with rival/friend Drew McIntyre.
15:41 This was a pretty good match, and everyone involved worked hard.
15:44 93, Finlay, No Way Out 2008.
15:47 I love Finlay. I don't want to see Finlay get hurt.
15:51 Oh look, there he is being chokeslammed on a f***ing grate. Tragic.
15:56 92, Lucha House Party, Elimination Chamber 2020.
16:00 The Lucha House Party was pretty clearly meant to be fodder for the top teams in this match,
16:04 but this was one of the few times Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik got to show off just how good they are,
16:09 with fun spots like this Hurricane Run on John Morrison.
16:12 91, Randy Orton, Elimination Chamber 2019.
16:15 Honestly, Randy Orton getting pinned by Kofi Kingston in this match bumps this spot up significantly.
16:20 90, Kofi Kingston, Elimination Chamber 2010.
16:23 Kofi Kingston's 2010 prospective main event push was pretty much dead by the time February hit.
16:28 He does have a cool bit as he enters the cage where he looks back to make sure he isn't attacked,
16:32 playing off-edge taking him out the year earlier. Attention to detail. It's nice.
16:37 89, Jeff Hardy, Elimination Chamber 2019.
16:40 Jeff Hardy may not have played an integral role in the 2019 chamber match, being eliminated second,
16:45 but this match was maybe the best of his kind,
16:47 and being in a great match gives you more points than being in a bad match.
16:50 88, Bayley, Elimination Chamber 2018.
16:54 Remember when Sasha Banks and Bayley broke up on every show for like a year?
16:58 This was one of those shows.
16:59 Despite good work from Bayley starting the match with Sonya Deville,
17:02 the most memorable part will always be when Sasha Banks turned on her for the eleventy billionth time.
17:07 87, Daniel Bryan, Elimination Chamber 2013.
17:11 This chamber match was pretty forgettable, but Daniel Bryan managed to have a couple standout moments,
17:15 trying to hug Kane and starting the match with Chris Jericho.
17:18 Certainly a more fun example of mid-card fodder this time.
17:21 86, Dean Ambrose, Elimination Chamber 2017.
17:24 Dean Ambrose had been personally escorted out of the main event scene, from which he'd been in in 2016,
17:29 and by Elimination Chamber, he was starting a feud with Baron Corbin over the Intercontinental Championship.
17:34 Solid work and a tremendous match, but man, when WWE pulls the plug on you, they pull it fast and hard.
17:41 That came out wrong.
17:43 Or did it?
17:44 85, Rob Van Dam, Survivor Series 2002.
17:47 Does Rob Van Dam place higher for doing a crazy frog splash off the top of a pod,
17:51 or does he place lower for crushing Triple H's throat with said frog splash?
17:55 84, Randy Orton, Elimination Chamber 2011.
17:58 Babyface Randy Orton again, folks.
18:00 This is when he was feuding with CM Punk, and thus Punk got help from the stupid laptop overlord and eliminated Randy Orton early.
18:06 I mean, it helped set up the WrestleMania match and the work was good, so can't complain too much.
18:10 83, Christian, Elimination Chamber 2014.
18:13 Christian's lone Elimination Chamber appearance came in a pretty forgettable one,
18:17 but thankfully Christian made his own mark, hitting a huge frog splash from the top of a pod to eliminate Sheamus.
18:22 82, John Morrison, Elimination Chamber 2011.
18:25 Speaking of stunts, here's John Morrison scaling the cage and then sort of letting go.
18:30 I don't know. Parkour.
18:32 81, Cesaro and Kidd, Elimination Chamber 2015.
18:35 Cesaro and Tyson Kidd may have been the best tag team in WWE at the time,
18:39 which makes it all the more confusing that they did not last to the final two of this match.
18:43 The spin into the dropkick gets me every time.
18:46 80, New Day, Elimination Chamber 2015.
18:49 There's no way these guys would just be allowed to wrestle this match with an extra man, right?
18:53 Right? Oh, well, at least they won.
18:56 79, Umaga, No Way Out 2008.
18:59 Umaga wreaked havoc on his chambermates before Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and Jeff Hardy all hit their finishers on him to take him out.
19:06 Yep, that'll do it.
19:07 78, Jack Swagger, Elimination Chamber 2013.
19:11 I'm still waiting to hear the rationale behind giving Jack Swagger a second main event push and having him win this chamber match.
19:17 On one hand, he won, so he places higher.
19:19 But on the other hand, he absolutely should not have won, so he places lower.
19:23 77, Triple H, SummerSlam 2003.
19:26 I mean, same thing as the last one, really.
19:28 Triple H barely did anything in this match due to a groin injury,
19:32 and then he beat Goldberg, only to lose to him a month later.
19:35 This finish was as baffling as those bike shorts.
19:37 76, Shawn Michaels, New Year's Revolution 2006.
19:41 Shawn Michaels got to start this match with John Cena as a little preview of their WrestleMania main event a year later.
19:46 He got eliminated by Carlito, which is a bit embarrassing,
19:49 but 23 minutes of Shawn Michaels is better than most other people.
19:53 75 and 74, Finn Balor and Seth Rollins, Elimination Chamber 2018.
19:57 I might as well do these two together, because I'd really just be saying the same thing twice.
20:01 Two excellent workers carrying the early stages of this match before becoming mid-card fodder for Braun Strowman,
20:06 who didn't even win, mind you!
20:08 73, Shawn Michaels, SummerSlam 2003.
20:11 Again, good chamber matches have a strong starting pair.
20:14 In this case, Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho.
20:16 Two 2003 rivals, and two all-time greats,
20:19 who made the beginning of this match great before being fed to Goldberg.
20:22 72, Randy Orton, Elimination Chamber 2013.
20:26 The second half of the 2013 chamber was pretty good,
20:28 and after eliminating Mark Henry and Chris Jericho,
20:31 he was rolled up and pinned by the all-Republican Republican.
20:33 71, Chris Jericho, SummerSlam 2003.
20:36 Chris Jericho's 2003 outing would be next to Shawn Michaels,
20:39 but Jericho has history with Goldberg, which makes his elimination mean just a shred more.
20:44 70, Samoa Joe, Elimination Chamber 2019.
20:47 Samoa Joe may have been eliminated first from the excellent 2019 chamber match,
20:52 but thankfully, we got to see him start the match with Daniel Bryan.
20:55 Enough to make an ROH fan weep.
20:57 69, nice, Cesaro, Elimination Chamber 2014.
21:02 This was before Cesaro was pushed and then killed,
21:04 so this was essentially his first foray into the WWE main event spotlight.
21:08 He didn't get any eliminations, but he started the match with future tag partner Sheamus,
21:12 and had a lovely half hour before being submitted by John Cena.
21:15 68, Sami Zayn, Elimination Chamber 2021.
21:18 Seeing Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens tear it up in an Elimination Chamber match is quite surreal,
21:23 and knowing this all led to an actual WrestleMania match between them makes it pretty darn cool.
21:28 67, Kevin Owens, Elimination Chamber 2021.
21:31 Repeat last entry, but Kevin Owens eliminated Sami Zayn, so he goes higher.
21:35 66, Chris Jericho, Elimination Chamber 2012.
21:38 Chris Jericho was only one of two plausible winners of this chamber match alongside CM Punk,
21:43 so with Punk winning, at least Jericho was able to stand out by being booted out of the cage, never to return.
21:49 Technically, he's still waiting to be eliminated.
21:51 65, Randy Orton, New Year's Revolution 2005.
21:55 Randy Orton played a key role in this match as he ended up squaring off with former Evolution running mate
21:59 Triple H and Batista in the final three.
22:01 The problem is 24-year-old Randy Orton didn't get over as a babyface,
22:06 and thus some of his shine spots come across very flat.
22:09 64, Sheamus, Elimination Chamber 2010.
22:12 Nothing like entering the Elimination Chamber as WWE Champion, not even making it to the final two,
22:17 and getting a concussion to boot.
22:19 63, Edge, New Year's Revolution 2005.
22:22 Edge had yet to step into his main event role when he competed at New Year's Revolution,
22:26 and his one big moment of the match was getting super kicked by guest referee Shawn Michaels.
22:30 First one out, but a good performance.
22:32 62 and 61, Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho, New Year's Revolution 2005.
22:37 Another very good starting point, as old rivals and partners Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit
22:41 were fodder for the whole Evolution aspect of this match,
22:44 but this is about as good a fodder as you can get.
22:47 60, New Day, Elimination Chamber 2020.
22:50 The tag chamber match from 2020 may have been a bit sloppy,
22:53 but the best teams shined in this match,
22:55 and any time the New Day and the Usos can wrestle in a new structure is a win in my book.
22:59 59, Chris Jericho, No Way Out 2008.
23:02 It's deja vu all over again as Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels started the Raw Elimination Chamber in 2008.
23:07 Their work was great and served as a preview of the amazing rivalry they would have later in the year.
23:12 58, Jeff Hardy, No Way Out 2009.
23:15 Jeff Hardy started this match with Edge and before another pod could open,
23:18 Hardy had pinned the WWE Champion.
23:20 This was his shot at regaining the title after losing it the month prior,
23:23 but it was not to be as he was eliminated by The Undertaker.
23:26 57, Shawn Michaels, No Way Out 2008.
23:29 Shawn Michaels bleeds everywhere in this f*cking match.
23:32 He also gets to start with Chris Jericho and gets eliminated by Frenemy Triple H.
23:36 Nothing a few stitches and a few green glow sticks won't fix.
23:39 56, Chris Jericho, Elimination Chamber 2013.
23:42 Jericho lasts almost to the end of this match, but he gets to start things off with Daniel Bryan,
23:47 a throwback to the first episode of Game Show NXT.
23:50 Look at these rookies. They were indeed wild and young.
23:53 55, Cesaro, Elimination Chamber 2021.
23:57 There is certainly a trend here.
23:58 If you are one of the two that starts in a match and you kill it,
24:01 you're gonna do well on this list.
24:02 In this case, you had Cesaro and Daniel Bryan.
24:05 Well, hot dog! I don't think you can get much better than that.
24:08 54, Triple H, Elimination Chamber 2010.
24:11 This was another fairly dull chamber, but Triple H did have one of his patented chamber performances,
24:16 eliminating WWE Champion Sheamus en route to submitting to John Cena as the final elimination.
24:21 53, Jey Uso, Elimination Chamber 2021.
24:24 Jey Uso just being in a chamber match to earn a title at Roman Reigns is already intriguing to start with.
24:29 Then you factor in he was the runner-up and eliminated Kevin Owens and Cesaro.
24:32 Yeah, a pretty solid showing for Jey, brother.
24:35 52, The Usos, Elimination Chamber 2020.
24:38 Again with strong starts, this time with tag teams.
24:41 The match started with The Usos and The New Day,
24:43 while The Usos were able to make it all the way to the final two teams.
24:46 They were beaten by The Miz and Morrison,
24:48 but not before eliminating The Dirty Dogs for good measure.
24:51 51, Rey Mysterio, Elimination Chamber 2010.
24:54 Rey Mysterio was the lucky duck who got to interrupt CM Punk's chamber sermon,
24:58 eliminating him after a Frankensteiner on The Great.
25:00 Mysterio was eliminated third, so he didn't make it close to the end,
25:04 but mixing it up with Punk, John Morrison, and Chris Jericho means you'll do well.
25:08 50, The Miz and John Morrison, Elimination Chamber 2020.
25:11 Not only did they win and retain the SmackDown tag titles,
25:14 but The Miz and John Morrison pinned both The New Day and The Usos to do it,
25:18 throwing the fact that this was a great match and The Miz and Morrison are sitting pretty at number 50.
25:22 49, Fire and Desire, Elimination Chamber 2019.
25:26 One of two tag teams to start the match and last all the way to the end.
25:29 Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville were at least an established tag team before this match,
25:33 and being runners-up for a new championship is pretty significant.
25:36 48, Roman Reigns, Elimination Chamber 2018.
25:39 I mean, I wonder who the people would be into more.
25:42 The guy who eliminates one man and wins,
25:44 or the monster who eliminates five participants single-handedly?
25:48 I can't understand why Roman didn't get over.
25:50 47, Randy Orton, Elimination Chamber 2014.
25:53 Crack the top 50 if you win a mediocre chamber, it seems.
25:56 46, John Morrison, Elimination Chamber 2010.
26:00 2009 and 2010 saw a number of breakout performances from John Morrison, and this was one of them.
26:05 Lasting until the final three, Morrison was a standout of the match,
26:09 eliminating Rey Mysterio in the process.
26:11 Would have been a good candidate to win Money in the Bank that year
26:14 instead of whatever nonsense he and R-Truth did at WrestleMania.
26:17 45, Sasha Banks, Elimination Chamber 2018.
26:20 Pretty much all the memorable moments from the first Women's Elimination Chamber match involve Sasha Banks.
26:25 Whether it be countering a huge twisted bliss into the Banks statement,
26:28 or betraying Bayley, again,
26:31 the real match starts when Sasha Banks' pod opens, a great runner-up to a solid first chamber match.
26:36 44, Chris Jericho, Survivor Series 2002.
26:40 Chris Jericho is really one of the ring generals of the first Elimination Chamber match,
26:43 starting with Rob Van Dam and controlling the pace of much of the match while in a loose alliance with Triple H.
26:48 He also gets super kicked while locking in the walls of Jericho,
26:51 which must have been pretty cool for an HBK fan like him.
26:54 43, John Cena, Elimination Chamber 2014.
26:57 Boy, if we knew the destination of this John Cena/Bray Wyatt rivalry at the time,
27:01 we'd have been crying for Bray to return to his swamp.
27:03 Cena eliminated Cesaro before the spooky voodoo posse decided that was enough hustle, loyalty, and respect for one evening.
27:09 42, John Cena, Elimination Chamber 2010.
27:13 Another winner of a mediocre chamber match.
27:15 This match is best remembered for what happens afterwards,
27:18 as Vince McMahon declared that John Cena must defend his newly won WWE Championship
27:22 against a fresh Batista who came down and ate Cena whole in one bite.
27:26 41, Triple H, No Way Out 2008.
27:29 This was a pretty solid chamber match with multiple potential winners,
27:32 but it was Triple H who eliminated Shawn Michaels before having a fun showdown with Jeff Hardy.
27:36 The game countered a twist of fate and hit a pedigree on a chair for the win, which leads me to...
27:41 40, Jeff Hardy, No Way Out 2008.
27:44 Jeff Hardy was ridiculously over at the time of this chamber match
27:47 as he was just coming off a main event clinching rivalry with Randy Orton.
27:50 You know, the one where Jeff kept jumping off things.
27:53 Although I guess that is most Jeff Hardy rivalries.
27:55 Anyway, I only remember this match because of how close Hardy gets to a WrestleMania title shot,
28:00 rather than Triple H for actually winning it.
28:02 39, Batista, New Year's Revolution 2005.
28:05 Sure, Batista was a bit clunky in the ring, especially back in 2005,
28:09 but he played a crucial role in this match, helping Triple H reclaim the World Heavyweight title,
28:14 while building to their impending WrestleMania main event.
28:16 38, Batista, No Way Out 2008.
28:20 There aren't many fantastic long Batista performances,
28:23 but the ones that do exist often involve The Undertaker.
28:26 Batista and The Undertaker started the SmackDown Chamber Match at No Way Out 2008
28:30 and lasted until the final two, where they did a bloody brilliant finish. Huzzah!
28:35 37, Mark Henry, Elimination Chamber 2013.
28:39 Mark Henry may not have won the Elimination Chamber match in 2013, he may not even been the runner-up,
28:44 but when his pot opened, he injected life into this match with a dominant performance,
28:48 eliminating Daniel Bryan and Kane solo.
28:51 36, CM Punk, Elimination Chamber 2011.
28:54 The 2011 Raw Chamber Match was fairly forgettable, despite being a pretty good match,
28:58 and CM Punk was the thread that tied the whole match together.
29:01 The stupid laptop lets Punk return to his pod before he eliminates WrestleMania opponent Randy Orton,
29:06 and goes on to be the runner-up falling to John Cena.
29:09 Also, he looks like he gets stabbed in the ass by Wolverine.
29:13 35, Edge, The SmackDown Chamber Match, No Way Out 2009.
29:17 This was the hardest entry to place on this list.
29:20 Yes, Edge only wrestles for three minutes, but his excellent performance as all the other participants laugh at him is priceless.
29:27 This doesn't place anywhere near this high, if not for the second half of Edge's night, but we'll get to that.
29:33 34, CM Punk, Elimination Chamber 2010.
29:36 You know that Royal Rumble sermon everyone loves to talk about?
29:39 Yeah, he did it again in the Elimination Chamber after eliminating R-Truth in minutes.
29:44 33, Chris Jericho, No Way Out 2009.
29:47 We have another strong start over here.
29:49 It's funny how these Chamber face-offs can end up being previews of rivalries to come,
29:53 like this one with Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio.
29:56 Jericho's performance is great, lasting until the final three after he helps eliminate Cena.
30:00 32, AJ Styles, Elimination Chamber 2019.
30:04 It's common knowledge that AJ Styles is phenomenal, right?
30:07 I mean, more really need not be said.
30:09 31, AJ Styles, Elimination Chamber 2021.
30:13 Well, fine then.
30:14 AJ Styles shows up when it comes to Elimination Chamber season.
30:18 He's competed in the match three times, and the only unnamed AJ Styles entry is still to come.
30:23 Whether it's been mixing it up with Samoa Joe and Jeff Hardy like it's TNA in 2019,
30:27 or outlasting four others before falling to Drew McIntyre in 2021,
30:31 AJ Styles is indeed phenomenal.
30:34 30, Daniel Bryan, Elimination Chamber 2014.
30:38 It's hard to articulate how much people loved Daniel Bryan in 2014.
30:43 Loudest pops, longest sustained reaction, and the only thing holding back this performance
30:48 is that we had seen The Authority screw Bryan out of the title several times leading up to this.
30:53 Otherwise, a wonderful, resilient effort before he finally got his WrestleMania moment.
30:58 29, Chris Jericho, Elimination Chamber 2010.
31:01 Boy, is there a lot of wackiness happening at the end of and as a result of this match.
31:06 Jericho is helped by his old rival Shawn Michaels who superkicks The Undertaker
31:09 and allows Jericho to win his final WWE World Title to date in a good match to boot.
31:14 28, Daniel Bryan, Elimination Chamber 2012.
31:17 With the exception of the finish, this is a poor Elimination Chamber match.
31:21 Having Bryan, by far the best worker in the match, without a close second in sight,
31:26 enter last made this match a real slog, but once he's in, he gets to be the one to stomp out dreams
31:32 as he submits Santino Marella to retain the World Title.
31:35 I mean, if you only watch from when Bryan enters, it's a pretty good match. Funny that.
31:39 27, John Cena, New Year's Revolution 2006.
31:43 You know, it's pretty wild that John Cena lasts this entire Elimination Chamber match,
31:47 entering first and dealing with Carlito and Chris Masters teaming up on him,
31:51 covered in blood, triumphant, and no one remembers this.
31:55 This match really only gets talked about in regards to Edge's Money in the Bank cash-in,
31:59 which is interesting given Cena's valiant efforts.
32:02 26, Alexa Bliss, Elimination Chamber 2018.
32:05 The winner of the first ever Women's Elimination Chamber match.
32:08 Alexa Bliss secured her place in history with that one.
32:11 She may have entered last, but Bliss more than pulls her weight,
32:14 eliminating both Bayley and Sasha Banks while also performing crazy-ass spots as well.
32:19 For a first winner, you can't ask for much more.
32:21 25, John Cena, Elimination Chamber 2011.
32:24 One week after being called out by the returning Rock "The Rock" Roxson,
32:28 Cena toughed out a pretty good chamber match by eliminating CM Punk to earn a shot at WrestleMania.
32:33 Unfortunately, that shot would be against The Miz,
32:35 and I'm gonna stop talking before I think about the WrestleMania match and O'Dard too late.
32:39 24, CM Punk, Elimination Chamber 2012.
32:42 Again, the WWE title chamber match isn't the best.
32:45 I mean, who among Kofi Kingston, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, or R-Truth
32:49 is gonna believably win the title ahead of WrestleMania?
32:52 That being said, Punk enters first as WWE Champion, and he walks out as champion.
32:57 He had some fun moments with Kofi and some interactions with WrestleMania opponent Chris Jericho,
33:02 so while the match is mid, Punk did alright.
33:05 23, Drew McIntyre, Elimination Chamber 2021.
33:08 Another match that will likely only be remembered because of a Money in the Bank cash-in.
33:12 The difference is, this match is actually f*cking rad.
33:15 Dominant champion Drew McIntyre taking down AJ Styles, Sheamus, Randy Orton, Kofi Kingston, and Jeff Hardy,
33:20 this match is a pretty damn good time, and it's one of McIntyre's best title defenses as well.
33:25 Even if he lost it two minutes later.
33:28 22, Shayna Baszler, Elimination Chamber 2020.
33:31 Now this is another difficult one, because on paper,
33:34 Shayna Baszler should be number one with a bullet, eliminates every other participant,
33:38 and does it decisively to win the match in record time.
33:41 That being said, this match kinda sucks.
33:45 The pacing is killed by all the waiting around, and while the idea of a dominant monster running through the chamber is a good idea,
33:51 in execution it just isn't very engaging.
33:53 21, John Cena, Elimination Chamber 2017.
33:56 To date, this was the last time John Cena was WWE Champion.
34:00 Wild.
34:01 The 2017 chamber is one of the best, and John Cena carries much of the match on his shoulders.
34:06 He starts with AJ Styles, there's a strong start again,
34:09 and makes it all the way to the final three before being eliminated by eventual winner Bray Wyatt.
34:14 Speaking of...
34:15 20, Bray Wyatt, Elimination Chamber 2017.
34:18 Boy, Bray Wyatt had bad luck with title reigns.
34:20 They all get hocus-pocused out and made into a joke,
34:23 which is a shame because, as seen in this match, Bray Wyatt can be a world champion wrestler.
34:28 Pinning both John Cena and AJ Styles to win your first WWE Championship in a fantastic match is pretty poetic,
34:36 so let's all just pretend the story ended there with a great match.
34:39 19, Goldberg, SummerSlam 2003.
34:42 Love him or hate him, there is a reason why Goldberg got over,
34:45 and if you watch his performance at SummerSlam 2003, you'll find it hard not to cheer for him yourself.
34:51 Like, look at this crazy man, spearing people in half.
34:54 It just gets your adrenaline flowing.
34:56 It goes without saying he should have won this match, but that can be said about many Triple H opponents.
35:00 18, Braun Strowman, Elimination Chamber 2018.
35:04 Okay, do the last one, but with more people this time.
35:06 2018 was the one year WWE decided to get weird and put seven men in the Elimination Chamber instead of six,
35:12 so Braun Strowman got a buy four, get one free for Eliminations,
35:15 taking out the entire field in impressive fashion,
35:17 before running head first into Vince McMahon's stubborn WrestleMania plans.
35:21 17, Santino Marella, Elimination Chamber 2012.
35:24 What is there to say about the finish of the 2012 World Title Elimination Chamber match?
35:28 Career goofball comedy character Santino Marella finds his way into an Elimination Chamber match,
35:33 somehow manages to eliminate Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett,
35:36 and comes a second away from pinning Daniel Bryan to win the title.
35:39 You can say it's comedy and it's ridiculous all you want,
35:42 the only part of this match the crowd was into was Santino's run at glory.
35:46 If they were going to do it, at least it was done well.
35:48 16, Triple H, Survivor Series 2002.
35:51 Not only does Triple H put on a tremendous performance in the first ever Elimination Chamber match,
35:56 but he does it after having his throat crushed by Rob Van Dam early in the match.
36:00 It's a different business today, but Triple H has to be on the Mount Rushmore of finishing matches after getting injured.
36:05 15, Triple H, New Year's Revolution 2005.
36:08 Triple H did not have his throat crushed at New Year's Revolution,
36:11 but rather he won the vacant World Heavyweight Championship in a very good match.
36:15 But most importantly, he did it while giving Randy Orton a big ol' wedgie.
36:19 Aw man, look at that bum.
36:21 14, The Undertaker, No Way Out 2008.
36:24 The Undertaker had never competed in an Elimination Chamber match before No Way Out 2008.
36:28 It was more of a Raw thing anyway.
36:30 For his first outing, Undertaker fills this match with memorable moments,
36:34 tossing MVP off a pod, chokeslamming Finlay on a grate, and this masterfully executed finish.
36:40 Ugh, smooth as butter.
36:42 Entered first and won a world title shot for the main event of WrestleMania,
36:45 doesn't get much better than that.
36:47 I mean, it would be better without the Great Khali and Big Daddy V involved, but I digress.
36:52 13, The Undertaker, No Way Out 2009.
36:55 One year later, The Undertaker stepped inside the Elimination Chamber again,
36:58 but this time the match was actually excellent.
37:01 Undertaker made it to the final two and has a great little battle with Triple H,
37:04 again a preview of their many matches to come.
37:07 Undertaker came up short in the match, but his performance was a thing of beauty.
37:10 12, AJ Styles, Elimination Chamber 2017.
37:14 Hey, there's that AJ Styles we were waiting for.
37:16 AJ Styles has yet to win an Elimination Chamber match,
37:19 but he always delivers when the cage door slams shut.
37:22 In this case, Styles starts the match with Cena and goes the distance,
37:25 being beaten by Bray Wyatt for the finish.
37:27 He may not have won, but it was clear who the MVP of the chamber was that night.
37:30 11, The Boston Hug Connection, Elimination Chamber 2019.
37:34 Despite what WWE has done with the women's tag titles since,
37:37 it's hard not to get sucked into what they're doing in this match
37:40 just by how much emotion is on display from the women involved,
37:43 but especially from Sasha and Bayley.
37:45 The match itself is maybe a bit clunky, about what you would expect
37:48 from a match involving Nia Jax, Tamina and Billie Kay,
37:51 but the celebration afterwards from Sasha and Bayley is heartwarming.
37:54 Real emotion, folks. Nothing like it.
37:57 10, The Undertaker, Elimination Chamber 2010.
38:00 Alright, we're into the top ten now, folks,
38:02 with The Undertaker's fiery performance from 2010.
38:05 Get it? Because fire? Yeah, okay.
38:07 This match and Undertaker's performance in it are very significant,
38:10 with HPK setting up his WrestleMania rematch with Taker,
38:13 Jericho and Taker getting some very rare ring time,
38:16 and keep in mind, all of this happening after they set Undertaker on fire!
38:21 9, Triple H, No Way Out 2009.
38:24 Triple H has weathered many Elimination Chamber matches,
38:26 and while this might not be his most memorable performance,
38:29 it may be his best.
38:31 The match was pretty awesome once Kozlov is dismissed,
38:33 and then it's Triple H, Undertaker and Jeff Hardy trading near falls.
38:37 There would have been few who could rival the popularity of these three at the time,
38:40 and an excellent final showdown with The Undertaker
38:43 capped off a fantastic opener for No Way Out.
38:46 8, Rey Mysterio, Elimination Chamber 2011.
38:49 Rey Mysterio's name doesn't come up when discussing the best chamber competitors,
38:53 probably because he's never won one,
38:55 but it's unfair because Mysterio has batten a thousand with his chamber performances.
38:59 In 2011, he and Edge start, there it is again,
39:02 and then make it all the way to the end, having an excellent mini-match of their own.
39:05 Put Rey Mysterio in a position to shine, and he'll blind you.
39:09 7, Daniel Bryan, Elimination Chamber 2021.
39:12 Babyface Daniel Bryan on the road to WrestleMania,
39:15 going the distance to win the Elimination Chamber match,
39:18 starting with Cesaro and last eliminating Roman Reigns' cousin Jey Uso
39:21 before Reigns makes Bryan wrestle their match immediately after the chamber.
39:25 If there were fans in the building, this might have been the best.
39:28 6, Rey Mysterio, No Way Out 2009.
39:31 Rey Mysterio's runner-up performance in 2009 is something truly special.
39:35 From a storytelling perspective, he sees his friend Kofi get attacked,
39:38 and he wants to make sure Edge gets his in return.
39:41 But, Edge is in a pod while Rey has to start the match against Chris Jericho,
39:45 another awesome combo,
39:47 before it comes down to Edge and Rey in a brilliant battle with a fantastic finish.
39:51 There is truly no better underdog than Rey Mysterio.
39:54 5, Edge, Elimination Chamber 2011.
39:57 There wasn't much of a story going into the SmackDown Chamber in 2011,
40:01 so what do great workers do in that situation?
40:04 They tell you a story in the ring.
40:06 Edge and Rey Mysterio have been linked since Rey's arrival in 2002,
40:09 and they've done some of their best work together in these chamber matches.
40:13 Edge and Rey start, Edge and Rey finish.
40:15 This match is superb, and the chemistry between these two carries it.
40:18 4, Daniel Bryan, Elimination Chamber 2019.
40:22 I thought long and hard about who would edge out the other between Kofi and Bryan,
40:26 and in the end, well, Kofi hasn't popped up yet, so you can infer from there.
40:30 The fact is, the 2019 Chamber match is excellent due to everyone involved,
40:34 but the emotional weight of the match lies on Bryan and Kofi.
40:37 Bryan may have had a better match bell to bell, I mean, he won, so yeah, obviously,
40:42 but Kofi gets the edge for making us all feel something at WrestleMania season,
40:46 so, speaking of,
40:48 3, Kofi Kingston, Elimination Chamber 2019.
40:52 In hindsight, it's probably best that Kofi Kingston got his big moment at WrestleMania,
40:56 but man, let me tell you, watching this show live, everyone I knew wanted Kofi to win.
41:02 Maybe, just maybe, WWE will pull the trigger on the hot babyface.
41:06 It didn't happen, but the emotion and the drama were there.
41:09 This was another Chamber match that you could argue was the best, and it's because of Kofi.
41:13 2, Edge, Raw Elimination Chamber match, No Way Out 2009.
41:18 Really, Edge's two performances at No Way Out 2009 should be judged together.
41:22 After losing the WWE Championship in just three minutes,
41:25 Edge took it upon himself to attack Kofi Kingston and take his place in the World Heavyweight Championship Chamber match.
41:30 From there, Edge put on an awesome showing with Rey Mysterio and Chris Jericho,
41:34 with Edge pinning the former to win the title he was never supposed to be fighting for.
41:38 Eh, big gold looks better on him than the spinner did anyway.
41:41 And number one, Shawn Michaels, Survivor Series 2002.
41:47 The winner of the first ever Elimination Chamber match, and only his second match since retirement,
41:52 capturing the last World Championship of his career in poop brown pants.
41:56 Joking aside, we won't dock marks for the brown pants, because this is an incredibly special match,
42:00 and moment for Shawn Michaels, but seriously, what made you choose brown?
42:04 Did you think you were going to sh*t yourself in that cage?
42:06 Regardless, HBK set the standard extraordinarily high for Elimination Chamber performances,
42:11 and we're still waiting for someone to top it.
42:13 And that's our extremely long list.
