00:02 >> I really liked what we saw from them in the run game against Ohio State.
00:07 We saw a really nice mix up of inside zone, gap schemes.
00:11 We saw a really diverse group.
00:13 The only complaint I had is that you go away from that on the last drive and
00:17 you ride your horse, right?
00:18 We talked about that.
00:19 But really through the first five games,
00:21 I was really impressed with what we saw schematically from the run game.
00:24 A lot of variation, new wrinkles from week to week.
00:26 You nailed it in the post game show.
00:28 It just kind of felt like this is what we did last week and it worked and so
00:31 let's run it again.
00:32 And we hadn't seen that all year from this offensive staff.
00:36 >> Like last year, yeah.
00:37 >> Yeah, yeah, and so I wanna see them get back to being more creative and
00:41 things like that.
00:42 As far as some of the wrinkles, offensively, the big thing for
00:46 me is not so much a schematic wrinkle.
00:48 Although there's always things that you can add to get guys free.
00:51 There's two things I would wanna see them do.
00:54 Number one, I wanna see them do more things with their receivers to stack and
00:58 bunch, which can help get some of the press,
01:01 some of the inability to get off the press, limit that to a degree.
01:07 And then more different movements.
01:09 So if you wanna get in a certain alignment, then move to it.
01:13 So maybe do more stuff where you're inverting certain routes and
01:16 then you stack and then you motion the guy out.
01:18 Or start off with a three by one set and then motion the guy outside and
01:23 then you get them a little bit cleaner release in that regard.
01:26 So there's some things they can do that way.
01:27 And then another one, Ryan, that I know you and I have talked about in the past is,
01:31 I wanna see this team be willing to mix up the tempo.
01:34 Like, look, I know that you're a defensive head coach and
01:37 I know that you wanna complement your defense and your offense.
01:39 I get all that, but
01:40 you also need to start doing things to put the other team's defense in more of
01:43 a bind.
