Notre Dame Offense Stepped Up When Needed

00:25 that's cuz Coach Freeman was like, just run it.

00:31 And it's game's over, I mean, officially over at that point in time.

00:37 And then the other one was every time USC kind of did something,

00:42 the offense was able to put a drive together and make some plays.

00:44 So they did what was needed.

00:46 And there weren't a ton of opportunities to go deep.

00:49 Cuz the other part too is, I know people wanna say, hey, rip up that defense.

00:53 And my whole thing is, Vince, you're up 31-13, you're up 24-6.

00:57 Do you really wanna do things coming out of the gate to say, hey,

01:02 And the team that is number two in the nation in sacks gets to your quarterback,

01:06 forces a fumble.

01:06 You're coming off a game where you just turned the ball over five times.

01:09 There's a lot to that where you gotta say, hey, look, we've got a big lead,

01:12 our defense is playing great.

01:13 Let's not do something to give them a short field.

01:16 I understand where they were coming from.

01:18 They needed to get that W, but when they needed to open it up and
