00:03 >> And so the biggest question we have is,
00:05 what will the post by adjustments be?
00:09 I don't know what they're going to be.
00:11 And we have our certain ideas on what our philosophy are as football.
00:14 But at the end of the day, I'm not as focused on that.
00:17 We've talked about a lot of that last week.
00:19 It's more about I just wanna see what they are and if they work.
00:21 Cuz I think you and I have talked about this a lot in the past, Ryan.
00:24 And the reality is there's offenses that I like that work and
00:29 there's offenses that I like that don't work.
00:31 I mean, there's a lot of different ways to be successful in football.
00:34 I believe this way, you believe that way,
00:36 the Notre Dame coaching staff may believe another way.
00:39 The end of the day, what matters is, but can it work?
00:41 Can whatever you wanna do, does it work?
00:43 Can you find a cohesive, like you said, we're using that word identity a lot.
00:48 Can you figure out who you wanna be and then steer everything towards that and
00:52 then maximize whatever that you have?
00:54 Because here's the good thing, Ryan,
00:55 this is gonna be the healthiest Notre Dame has been on offense in a month.
00:58 >> Jay Thomas- >> They needed that bye week.
01:01 They needed to bye week very bad times.
01:03 >> Great house is gonna be healthier.
01:05 I mean, part of the issue with receivers, we found out,
01:07 I talked about this yesterday.
01:08 I found out during the bye week that half the receiving core wasn't even practicing
01:13 really during the week.
01:14 And it's hard to get on the same page with a first year quarterback at that school,
01:18 bunch of freshmen and things like that when the guys aren't practicing.
01:22 And so that's not an excuse anymore.
01:24 You had the bye week period.
01:26 You've now got this week, you're healthy, you get guys out there.
01:29 See you.
