Nick Saban reacts to Zach Arnett and Jimbo Fisher being fired

00:02 as well as your reaction to the news of their firings.

00:05 Mississippi State's coach in Texas saying

00:09 a reaction to those guys getting let go.

00:11 You know, I don't ever like to see anybody get let go,

00:17 whatever we want to call it, in this business.

00:19 I know how hard everybody works.

00:21 I know how difficult it is to sort of build a program

00:28 to get players to compete at a high level

00:31 on a consistent basis,

00:33 and just have a lot of respect for people

00:35 who really work hard to try to change the lives of,

00:40 you know, the guys that they're coaching,

00:42 make them better people,

00:44 help them do the right things

00:45 in terms of getting an education,

00:47 as well as trying to develop them on the football field.

00:49 But, you know, we are in a business

00:54 that you get evaluated based on outcomes

00:58 and your performance,

00:59 and I hate to see anybody have to go through this.

01:04 I've been fired before.

01:06 It's no fun.

01:07 It's no fun for your family.

01:09 But I'm sure that both those guys have great reputations

01:12 in terms of what they've been able to accomplish

01:15 over the course of their career,

01:17 and I'm sure they'll have many more opportunities

01:19 to be successful in the future.
