00:50 >> For this kind of specific,
01:03 when do you think I guess the biggest change was on offense from the first?
01:08 >> I think I was just, you know, a hundred shots a little bit at the beginning.
01:11 You know, everybody wanted to see who could score, everybody was good.
01:14 So, since I was a young kid, I didn't have time to see all of it.
01:18 They played really well in the games, so they just forced a lot of times in the beginning,
01:21 so they checked us off.
01:22 And then once they had the, you know, kind of,
01:24 they cleaned everything up and started taking good shots and started following the moves.
01:28 [BLANK_AUDIO]
01:31 >> Chico, you led the team at school in the second story game.
01:33 Is there a different approach you have this year in trying to find your style bar
01:36 than everyone else did before?
01:38 >> No, it's not even that.
01:39 It's just, you know, I think that I like taking shots that I'm comfortable with,
01:44 and I think the shots I'm comfortable with.
01:46 And, you know, they're going in, and that's just testament to my work,
01:49 and testament to my teammates trusting me to pass the ball.
01:53 But like I said, everybody else only scores, so it's not, you know,
01:56 nobody's scoring most balls, or somebody else scoring most balls.
01:59 It's just everybody taking the shots they're comfortable with,
02:01 and taking the shots, you know, we're going to shoot them.
02:03 >> [INAUDIBLE]
02:13 >> [INAUDIBLE]
02:23 >> For sure, because I feel like it's all [INAUDIBLE]
02:30 >> [INAUDIBLE]
02:47 >> How different has this been playing with this type of talent at PC?
02:51 >> It's definitely way different.
02:54 It's been an adjustment since day one.
02:57 You know, they'll learn, like, sometimes those games,
03:00 it's getting more and more hard, but just, you know,
03:02 it feels way better all the time, too.
03:05 But it feels great to play with guys that just, you know,
03:08 I feel like 10 or whatever guys that can pass, shoot,
03:12 and you know, throw the ball, you know, so it's just super,
03:15 super a pleasure to have.
03:20 >> You guys had 24 assists on 35 and a half seasons,
03:23 what does that say about the strength of the South end
03:27 and how many of your guys can shoot?
03:31 >> Just getting out and running for it, that's what we do,
03:34 so it's fine, I know what to see and make,
03:36 and I feel like that's what we're good at,
03:37 just making the right pass, making the right play,
03:40 not trying to do too much, just getting the ball.
03:44 >> Last year, three-point shooting wasn't the strength of the team,
03:47 how much different is that this year so far?
03:49 >> You know, guys are getting the attention,
03:51 I think guys did last year, but it's more purposeful, you know,
03:55 we do a lot of team shooting, we do a lot of competitive shooting
03:58 in the summer, and I think just overall,
04:01 it's just the work that we put in all the summer,
04:03 so I want to keep that in our shooting,
04:05 that was the flaw of ours up ahead, but, you know,
04:08 coach gives us the confidence to shoot open shots,
04:10 he never complains, he never, he never shoots open shots,
04:13 so that's always valuable, you know, as a player,
04:16 you know, have a confidence for the coach, you know,
04:18 to shoot shots, because a lot of that is just mental,
04:20 so I think that, you know, a lot of the guys that are shooting the ball
04:23 and you guys are shooting, they're going to go in
04:26 and keep shooting threes and getting better in the best manner.
04:30 >> Can you talk a little bit about the men,
04:37 the new best method, first, again,
04:40 I think that we saw tonight, they found it tonight,
04:43 got a lot of energy out of the day,
04:45 what are they wearing as guys?
04:48 >> We got three bigs that can play anytime against anybody,
04:52 which we had before, but it's a little bit more heightened now,
04:57 Ernest is a very active big who comes in and plays hard on defense,
05:03 and can crash and get rebounds, X is smart,
05:06 he knows how to play with everybody's game for three years,
05:08 he knows everybody's game, he's a good player,
05:10 he plays with the assailants, he's relentless,
05:12 he's going to try his best, listen to the coach,
05:14 and they're all coachable, they're all great guys,
05:16 so having three bigs that can do that is dangerous,
05:19 especially when you start playing against teams that have bigger guys
05:23 and guys that are pretty good down low,
05:26 we got the guys to defend and go at them at the same time,
05:29 so I'm very excited about them, we're all happy for them,
05:32 and they're going to keep doing their thing.
05:34 >> Any last questions?
05:39 Okay, thank you.
05:41 >> Thank you.
