00:04 A thieving couple raided Tesco stores in Derbyshire and 10 other counties across England in a
00:09 £31,000 shoplifting spree, stealing booze, make-up and printer ink.
00:14 Marian Oprescu, 27, targeted dozens of stores between February and August this year.
00:20 His partner, Alexander Radu, 24, joined him on a number of occasions as they stole cosmetics,
00:25 alcohol and laundry detergent.
00:27 In just one day, Oprescu stole almost £10,000 worth of products from three Tesco stores.
00:34 He admitted 27 shop thefts, worth approximately £25,000 when he appeared at Nottingham Crown
00:39 Court.
00:40 Meanwhile, Radu, 24, pleaded guilty to 7 shop thefts, worth around £6,000.
00:46 Oprescu was jailed for 2 years and 3 months, while Radu's sentencing was deferred for
00:50 6 months.
00:53 The owners of a boudoir photography studio in a Derbyshire town have launched a fundraising
00:57 appeal to help cancer patients who are anxious about stripping off for medical procedures.
01:02 James and Kirsty Corbett are aiming to raise £2,000 so they can donate accessible hoodies
01:07 to Royal Derby Hospital's day unit.
01:10 The couple run the Be Bold, Be You Photography in Belper, where they have learnt about the
01:14 different journeys that cancer patients take.
01:17 The couple decided to design a hoodie that would enable medical procedures to be carried
01:21 out while keeping the wearer cosy.
01:23 Kirsty said "The accessible hoodie is all about creating a sense of dignity for those
01:28 undergoing medical treatment."
