Here's today's bulletin with news of a police appeal for witnesses after a woman was left in hospital after an attack - and why a Chesterfield business is expanding.

00:04Derbyshire Police are appealing for information after a woman was taken to hospital suffering
00:08from serious injuries she received during an assault, with two other people also being
00:13attacked.
00:14Officers were called to the incident on Nottingham Road in Alfredton just after 11.40pm on Friday
00:20September 20th.
00:22A force spokesperson said,
00:23A woman in her 20s suffered serious facial injuries after being hit in the face with
00:28a metal pole. She was taken to hospital for treatment.
00:32Two other people, a man in his 20s and a woman in her 30s were also assaulted. Their injuries
00:37are not thought to be serious or life-threatening.
00:41Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or those who have CCTV
00:45or dashcam footage.
00:49Owners of an independent gift shop in Chesterfield have announced an expansion to their business
00:53ahead of its 5th birthday celebrations.
00:56Lisa Swift and John Oneans who run Shop Indy on Steeplegate said,
01:00We are working hard to get everything ready for opening upstairs. We hope that it will
01:04be open by the end of October. We are really proud to be expanding Shop Indy.
01:09We are so grateful that Chesterfield has got behind us, choosing to purchase cards and
01:13gifts designed and made here in the UK by small independent businesses. This has meant
01:18that we have been able to support more makers, but our shop has just reached its capacity
01:22and we need more room.
