00:02 Plans have been unveiled for the latest phase of a major housing development near Chesterfield.
00:07 Mallard Homes is bidding for planning consent to create new homes on the former avenue side
00:13 at Derby Road in Wingerwith. The proposal is for 14 semi-detached houses containing four
00:18 bedrooms and accommodation across three floors, plus a two-storey apartment building that will
00:22 house a number of flats. Outline planning permission for up to 489 homes at the
00:28 multi-phase development was granted by North East Derbyshire District Council back in 2014.

00:45 second phase of 217 homes. Both Mallard Homes and Strata Homes have each lodged a reserve

00:57 Cochin Works was cleaned up during a 15-year remediation process in readiness for the redevelopment.

01:09 Shoppers who visited Tesco at Bridge Street in Claycross yesterday had to scrap their shopping
01:14 plans after they were asked to leave the store. Tesco confirmed they'd had to close the store
01:19 yesterday afternoon due to an issue with their checkout system and had called engineers to the
01:23 site. The shop reopened to customers last night at around 6.30pm.
