A Christmas gift of discarded trees for Stockholm's fish  Each year, Stockholm sinks Christmas trees into its icy waters, creating habitats for marine wildlife. 00:45 So we, as humans, need to keep these coastal ways clear.

00:50 So there's not a lot of vegetation.

00:53 There's not a lot of reeds.

00:55 And those are really important habitats for fish that have

00:58 gone missing.

01:23 places to hide in here.

01:26 There are all these branches, and there are the pine needles

01:28 as well.

01:29 So they're really great places to place the roe, and also

01:33 really great places for juvenile fish to hide from

01:36 bigger fish.
