00:03 >> Trey, coaches talked a lot about your guys' unselfishness tonight.
00:07 Just how much can you guys talk about just giving up the ball to each other,
00:11 making the right reads, making the right passes?
00:13 >> Yeah, I think we did a great job.
00:15 Started the game at 9th like we did last game.
00:18 And just, I mean, fed throughout the whole game.
00:22 Shots weren't necessarily going in the whole game like we usually are used to.
00:26 But I mean, we were moving in and guys are getting good looks.
00:30 And we'll take the looks that we got tonight for sure going forward.
00:34 [BLANK_AUDIO]
00:39 >> Feels like every time you guys play the Magic, these are some pretty close
00:42 games.
00:43 What do you think it is about them as an opponent that kind of leads to these type
00:47 of performances?
00:48 >> I think we're kind of like, I mean,
00:52 literally kind of like the exact opposite type of team.
00:56 They're a very, very good defensive team and kind of sometimes struggle on offense.
01:01 And we're kind of the opposite.
01:03 We're a very, very good offensive team that kind of struggles on defense sometimes.
01:07 So I think that's why you kind of get these kind of games and
01:10 battles really close cuz, I mean, it's like a teeter-totter.
01:13 We're kind of eating each other out sometimes.
01:15 And it's just whichever one is gonna get more of that game that night, so.
01:20 >> [INAUDIBLE]
01:30 >> Going in, the first thing I think about is if we have a timeout or not and
01:33 if we're gonna go.
01:34 And so I looked up real quick, saw we had a timeout, and
01:37 saw that they were pressuring, and thought we was gonna call a timeout.
01:39 And Quinn actually was telling the ref timeout, and he didn't hear him.
01:44 And I mean, the rest weren't hearing, a lot of people all game.
01:48 So it worked in our favor there.
01:51 And he didn't hear him, and then we got the ball to DJ, and DJ did his thing.
01:55 So that's why I was kind of jumping.
01:57 I'm looking at the ref thinking, he's literally telling you timeout.
02:01 Okay, okay, we got DJ the ball, so now we're good, now we're good.
02:05 So got him the ball, let him do his thing, and we're tied.
02:09 So I think the best thing was getting the transition to make a play.
02:14 And Quinn did a great job not calling a timeout, and we all just spaced for
02:18 DJ and let him do his thing.
02:20 >> Coach talked about the length that you actually have with so
02:25 many guys on defense.
02:26 Can you talk about how tough it was against that magic defense, or
02:29 how much they can throw at you in defense?
02:32 >> Yeah, I think that's what makes them such a great defensive team.
02:34 They can throw a lot of different guys at you, different size,
02:38 different strengths and speed.
02:41 Some guys are smaller and stronger and faster, but some guys are taller and
02:45 have a lot more length on them.
02:47 I think that's really what makes them a really good defensive team.
02:51 So I mean, that's why they won a lot of games.
02:53 They're not in the middle of the pack for no reason, so.
02:56 [BLANK_AUDIO]
03:00 >> Thanks, Trent.
