00:00 This year we're launching my biggest life-saving mission to date.
00:03 It's the most important skill you need to learn today
00:06 because it could be a matter of life and death tomorrow.
00:08 There's a new way, a brand new way, of doing CPR with just two simple steps.
00:13 Think about it. Two steps that can save the life of someone you love.
00:16 It's easier than you think and you have that power.
00:19 And I've been going around the country to show you how to do this new kind of CPR.
00:22 Some of your favorite stars have decided to join the mission.
00:26 I'm in Hollywood, crashing the sets of some of your favorite shows
00:30 on a vital mission close to my heart.
00:32 The category is Saving Lives.
00:35 Check it out. Let's see, let's see.
00:36 Do your Vanna White.
00:38 Is it?
00:38 Oh, look at her.
00:40 That's right. Hands-only CPR.
00:42 It's simple and easy.
00:44 We've trained close to 20,000 people around the country.
00:47 And now I'm enlisting some of the biggest stars to lend a hand.
00:51 And I've got great news.
00:53 You don't have to breathe in their mouth anymore.
00:54 Oh, you do? Really?
00:55 The reason it's called hands-only CPR,
00:57 we don't want any more breathing anymore.
00:59 There is no more breathing.
01:01 Now you're talking.
01:02 There's two steps. We call it the Texas Two-Step.
01:05 First action is...
01:07 The dummy's down. He's out.
01:09 Yo, call 911.
01:10 Ask the expert.
01:11 Call 911.
01:13 You go get 911.
01:15 While they're doing that, you do step number two,
01:17 which is the chest compressions.
01:18 You get your hands over the chest bone,
01:21 midway between the nipples.
01:22 Nipples.
01:23 Get used to saying it.
01:24 And you start to push down.
01:25 Then how fast do you go? Do you remember?
01:27 If you sing "Row, row, row your boat,"
01:29 you got the rhythm going.
01:30 That's like...

01:46 One in 10 gets saved now.
01:47 We can double or triple that
01:48 if we learn hands-only CPR.
