00:04 This is our update on the weather for the next 24 hours.

00:09 The effect of the Northeast Monsoon is still continuing,

00:13 or the cold wind blowing here in the area of the extreme northern Luzon.

00:18 Meanwhile, this Easter lease, or the hot wind from the Pacific Ocean

00:22 is blowing in the cold part of our country.

00:26 And because of the Easter lease, we will still experience a cloudy sky

00:31 with scattered rain, snowfall, and hail in the northern Luzon and eastern Visayas.

00:39 Meanwhile, because of the cold, we will also experience a slight rain

00:44 in the areas of the extreme northern Luzon.

00:47 In the northern part of our country, we expect fair weather conditions.

00:51 There is still a chance of light rain or thunderstorms

00:54 that will bring rain here in the northern Luzon.

00:56 Meanwhile, there is a chance of thunderstorms,

00:58 or the heavy rains that will bring hail and snowfall

01:01 in the cold part of our country.

01:06 And for the weather forecast for the Luzon,

01:10 because of the Easter lease, we will experience a scattered rain

01:15 with hail and snowfall in the area of the Bicol Region.

01:19 In the mentioned areas, there is a chance of sudden flooding or landslides

01:24 if the rain continues.

01:28 And because of the Easter lease, we will also experience a cloudy sky

01:30 with scattered rain in the areas of Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

01:36 And for the rest of Luzon, including Metro Manila,

01:39 we expect fair weather conditions,

01:41 with light weather in the northern part of the northern Luzon

01:45 and in the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, and Cagayan Valley.

01:49 There is still a chance of light rain in the Amihan and Amihan Islands.

01:52 And in the cold part of Luzon, including Metro Manila,

01:55 there is a chance of thunderstorms

01:57 that we will experience from dusk to dusk.

02:02 In the areas of Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao,

02:06 because of the Easter lease in some areas of the Samar Provinces,

02:11 in the provinces of Samar, Northern Samar, and Eastern Samar,

02:15 we may experience rainfalls that are due to the Easter lease.

02:20 So we should also prepare for the possibility of flooding and landslides

02:24 in the mentioned areas.

02:26 And this early morning, we were able to record some rainfall

02:31 in some parts of Mindanao,

02:33 particularly in the areas of Zamboanga Peninsula,

02:37 in the islands of Basilan, Sulu, and Tawetawi.

02:55 including the large part of Visayas and the whole of Mindanao.

03:13 there are no high-level gale warnings in any of the islands.

03:17 But we should still be careful of our fellow fishermen,

03:21 particularly in the coastal areas of the extreme northern zone,

03:25 because we may still experience a severe storm that will reach the ocean.

03:30 And for our 3D extended weather outlook in the surrounding areas of our country,

03:35 tomorrow, Sunday, we will experience a spring of rain

03:38 due to the Easter lease in the Bicol region,

03:41 in the city of Legazpi City.

03:44 So it is still possible for landslides to occur until tomorrow in the mentioned areas.

03:50 We expect improving weather conditions in a large part of Bicol

03:54 from Monday to Tuesday.

03:57 And for the next three days, the effects of the storm or the northeast monsoon

04:01 in the northern zone will continue.

04:03 We expect it to reach Monday and continue until Tuesday.

04:07 The cold wind may reach Metro Manila.

04:11 So due to the strong wind,

04:13 the low of thunderstorm activity or the rain with lightning and thunderstorms,

04:25 in the mentioned dates.

04:27 In the Visayas for the next three days,

04:30 the Easter lease will continue.

04:33 The dominant weather system that we expect in the areas of Metro Cebu, Iloilo City, and Tacloban City.

04:52 will reach the afternoon until the evening.

04:55 In the areas of Mindanao, Metro Davao, Cagayan de Oro City, and Zamboanga City

05:02 for the next three days,

05:03 the fair weather conditions will continue in the hot and humid weather.

05:07 We should still prepare or bring an umbrella in the rain

05:11 because the chances of thunderstorms will still be possible

05:14 that will reach the afternoon until the evening.
