00:02 Weather update for today, Tuesday, the 5th of March, 2024.
00:08 Currently, the Easter Leaves are still in full bloom.
00:12 This is the hot wind coming from the Pacific Ocean and it is affecting the whole country.
00:17 And if we can see in the satellite image, we can see thick clouds in the eastern coast of Mindanao area.
00:25 So most likely, these cloud clusters will affect the eastern section of Mindanao and will bring heavy rains.
00:33 Heavy rain and thunderstorms most possibly will happen later in the afternoon.
00:36 Meanwhile, in the cold part of our country, Easter Leaves can also be affected.
00:41 Here in the northern and central zone, there are also possibilities of heavy rains.
00:46 Although, there is a slight chance of rain.
00:50 And then for the rest of the country, we can't see any heavy rain that can bring heavy rain in the afternoon.
00:57 So isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will happen in the afternoon or in the evening.
01:01 Otherwise, we are expecting fair weather conditions in most of the time in the northern part of the zone.
01:08 So there are still chances of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms usually in the afternoon or in the evening.
01:13 And we also expect that the temperatures will still be a bit hot today.
01:18 Especially in the afternoon, the maximum temperatures here in Metro Manila can reach 33 degrees Celsius.
01:24 And then 32 degrees Celsius for Lawag and Tuguegarao.
01:29 In Baguio City, I expect that it will be 15 to 25 degrees Celsius.
01:33 We are expecting 21 to 30 degrees Celsius.
01:36 And in Legazpi, it will be 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.
01:42 So, the weather will be good in the northern part of the country, as we said earlier.
01:48 There are possibilities that the cloud clusters will be affected, especially in the eastern part of Mindanao.
01:54 So, in Davao region and Surigao del Sur, we are expecting that there will be chances of heavy rains,
02:01 thunder and lightning in the afternoon.
02:03 And then for the rest of the country, the weather will still be hot and there are still chances of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
02:11 So, let's monitor the thunderstorm advisory in our social media accounts.
02:16 We also expect that the temperatures that we are expecting today in the neighboring cities of Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao will still be hot.
02:24 We are expecting a maximum temperature of mostly 32 degrees Celsius.
02:27 Meanwhile, here in Zamboanga, the temperatures will be playing around 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.
02:34 In the condition of our ocean, we do not have a gale warning that is high in any country of our country.
02:40 So, mostly light to moderate coastal conditions, coastal water conditions are what we are expecting.
02:46 So, we are still expecting that our countrymen will still be able to travel, especially those who have small sea vehicles.
02:54 And for the next days, over Luzon area, the sunny weather will continue.
03:01 Although there are still chances of thunderstorms, we are expecting by the end of the week,
03:05 the temperature will be a bit low, so the temperatures that we are expecting will still be hot until Friday.
03:11 Metro Manila temperatures will still be 33 degrees Celsius maximum temperatures.
