00:14 trail heats up between the BJP and BJD.

00:18 We are standing today in Narsinghna,

00:20 which is part of the Bargarh district of Western Odisha.

00:24 Here, the campaign has specially heated up

00:26 after Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked

00:31 Naveen Patnaik in a rally on the 10th of May in Bargarh,

00:35 saying that he does not know how to speak Odia,

00:38 and the BJP would give a candidate who

00:41 would be able to speak Odia.

00:42 So it's basically become an identity question.

00:45 Today, we talk to a few farmer leaders from Western Odisha

00:51 who have been also pointing out that the issue of paddy

00:56 price has become very prominent here,

00:58 after the BJP promised a per quintal paddy

01:01 price of 3,100 rupees.

01:04 After this, the BJD has also come up

01:08 with an offer to give free electricity,

01:10 because the electricity bills have been rising in the area.

01:15 But mainly, now it has become a fight between Modi and Naveen
