00:13 The volume of rain that fell along with the winds blowing from the southwest mean, the
00:18 criteria to declare the onset of the rainy season are met.
00:21 Pag-asa also warns there is a high chance of La Niña developing in the July-September
00:26 period.
00:27 La Niña will increase the likelihood of above-normal rainfall in parts of the country, especially
00:32 toward the end of the year.
00:34 For June to November, the Weather Bureau expects 10 to 13 tropical cyclones to enter or develop
00:39 inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
