00:00Russia plans to make intermediate and short-range nuclear-capable missiles again

00:17This is one of the largest flybys of Philippine Air Force airplanes,

00:20including the T-41 and SF-260 trainer aircrafts,

00:24which were built in 1977 for the 77th anniversary of the Philippine Air Force.

00:30In front of President Bongbong Marcos and Defense Secretary Gilberto Doro,

00:35the Air Assets of the Air Force also showed their readiness for a mock military operation.

00:43Despite the tension in the West Philippine Sea, according to the President,

00:46they will further strengthen the Air Force to protect the citizens and the country's wealth.

00:52We have likewise acquired additional aircraft as well as advanced radar systems,

00:57which have transformed our operational readiness and has enhanced our operational reach.

01:04Indeed, these assets contribute to an agile Air Force, capable of protecting our nation.

01:10When trespassing aggressors are denying us our right to our own territory,

01:15threatening our ships and harming our soldiers,

01:17we are ready to respond swiftly, with courage and firm resolve,

01:22in defense of our sovereignty, in honor of our flag.

01:26Aside from the new equipment,

01:28the President also encouraged bilateral and multilateral exercises.

01:34After the military exercise,

01:37the US Army's Mid-Range Capability Launcher was deployed for the first time.

01:41This is the first time that the American Typhoon Weapon System has been deployed,

01:44capable of launching mid-range missiles.

01:47China and Russia are now in charge of this.

01:51In a statement, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that

01:54because of its deployment in the Philippines and other countries,

01:57Russia plans to make intermediate and short-range nuclear-capable missiles again.

02:02According to Putin,

02:03the decision will be made as to where the missiles will be placed for their security.

02:08It should be noted that in 1987,

02:10Russia and America agreed that they will not make such weapons.

02:14But the Americans left the 2019 agreement under President Donald Trump.
