00:00All right, we were talking about Travis Kelsey's comments about Sam Laporta. Just lots of praise
00:06for him says he's an effing beast and what a year he had last year and expects great
00:12things from in the future. So we were asking, you know, who's going to get the praise next
00:16year around this time? Who's going to be the guy that gets all the love. And we've got
00:21a lot of texts coming in. I said, Aiden Hutchinson, Kang said, Jameer Gibbs, some texts coming
00:25in Jamison Williams with eyes on Amin Ra. I think he could have a thousand yard season.
00:31That's Roger eating a whopper. Way to go, Raj. A thousand yard season. Okay. I'll take
00:38it. I don't know if he's going to get there, but I think that he's going to be used a lot
00:42more this year and he's going to have to step up his game. Hey Gator, I really think Matthew
00:48Betts is going to be a big surprise this year. The Lions had their eye on him in multiple
00:53off seasons for a reason. He may not start right away, but in the same way that Mellon
00:57Fonwell broke out in mid season, I feel the bets will do the same. Adam in the truck.
01:02Interesting. Betts is the, uh, the guy that got from the Canadian football league who
01:07was the defensive player of the year. A really good pass rusher in that league. This is a
01:13different league. Uh, we'll see, uh, how it translates. I think we're going to be talking
01:18about Terry and Arnold as a true lockdown corner by the end of the year, which will
01:23in turn help the defensive line get home. Uh, but I think we'll be singing his praises
01:28and wondering how Brad Holmes did it again. That's from Scott and Hazel park. A lot of
01:34expectations are there for Terry and Arnold. Uh, I've been to every opening day since I,
01:41since I was in the third grade and now I'm 42 years old. When it comes to the streak,
01:44we talked about cows, Cal Ripken streak that started, uh, on July 1st in 1982. What kind
01:50of personal streak have you had? That's impressive. That's a lot of, uh, of opening days. That's
01:56like a, you know, it was a 39 or not 39. Uh, sorry. It's, it's a ton of them. A 30, 33,
02:0234 opening days. It looks like, uh, for me, I think it's Brian branch, uh, for, for the
02:09second year, taking a big step forward. That's from Tom and Waterford. Okay, Tom, thank you
02:14very much. Uh, a lot of feedback coming in. Uh, I think the next line that'd be given
02:20the props will be Jack Campbell going into a second year, having a better secondary,
02:24the linebackers won't be asked to cover as much. And it really was the only weak part
02:29of his game as a rookie. That's a Matt and Redford. Look forward to seeing what Jack
02:35Campbell can do this next season. JMO is going to be a no better than the fourth option behind
02:41and Gibbs. I'll be surprised if JMO has more than 60 ish catches. Okay. Throwing a wet
02:47blanket on things, but that's okay. That's all right. Uh, but 60 catches is more than
02:54what Josh Reynolds got by a lot. In fact, it's 50% more than what Josh Reynolds had
02:58last year, whom he is really replacing. Josh Reynolds had 40 receptions for the lions that
03:04last year for 608 yards and five touchdowns. You're going to tell me that JMO is going
03:09to have 60 receptions. Okay. He's going to have a bunch of yards and a bunch of touchdowns.
03:15It's improvement, but would it be enough to get that kind of high praise? Perhaps not,
03:21but I do think that the, that that would be an improvement.
