00:00Uh, man, Brad Holmes really loves injury prone guys. Doug, when, when was Tim Patrick good?
00:05He's been men his whole career. He's a nothing burger. That's from like a couple of years
00:08ago. He was the second leading receiver behind Jerry Judy by one reception in Denver, one
00:17reception. He had twice as many touchdowns as Jerry Judy that year. He led them in touchdown
00:22receptions that year, all with the rotating drew lock, Jeff Driscoll, Brett Rippin, Kendall
00:30hitting a quarterback. He's never had a good quarterback. No. So he's never been great
00:36Mike, but he's being asked to come here and be at best the third receiver. I think he
00:44can fulfill that role. And was Josh Reynolds good for the lines last year? Cause he was
00:49a third receiver. So yeah, I think he has been good. The problem is the injury. And
00:54that wasn't the only year he had. I think he had two decent years. His arrow was pointing
00:57up until the injuries. Uh, essentially the lines traded Josh Reynolds for Tim Patrick
01:05and we're asking them to be Josh Reynolds. And when Josh Reynolds got here, we weren't
01:09sure he was good. Josh Reynolds. I mean, I guess if this guy's def definition of good
01:14is elite. No, he's never been elite. We don't need them to be elite now, but I, but I think
01:20he's clearly been a productive receiver when you're over 50 catches for a team with bad
01:25quarterback play. Uh, the mythical matchup is a deceptive bet aimed at the most degenerative
01:31gamblers. I'll take Michigan over. That's funny. 2, 4, 8, 5, 3, 9, 97, 97. All right.
01:41Uh, wrapping up the roster, the final 53 man roster, the tight end thing really surprised
01:50me. Parker has over James Mitchell and Shane Zylstra. Parker has tight end out of Iowa
02:02that we saw catch a touchdown on a fourth down play in practice where we saw the number
02:0943 and thought they threw to Jake Bates. Uh, Parker has makes the, makes the lineup
02:18makes the 53. Is he here to stay? We'll find out. This is a guy who's been in the league
02:26for a few years. He's had, let's see here. 14 career catches. He had five with Atlanta
02:36in 2021, nine more with Atlanta in 2022 played with Atlanta last year. Didn't have one catch
02:43or target and the lion signed him and he makes this roster. Hmm. Curious that they signed
02:55a 21. They keep a 29 year old journeyman tight end over two guys that have played and done
03:01some stuff for them. I don't want to overstate it. Neither Mitchell nor Zylstra were great
03:09players for them. And at best, we're going to be down the list of, of tight end options
03:15at best third. But those same years that Parker has had 14 catches for Atlanta, Shane Zylstra
03:24had 22 catches for Detroit and he had four touchdowns back in 2022, which is four more
03:32than Parker has had James Mitchell in Detroit. The last two years had 13 receptions and a
03:40touchdown. So this one surprised me completely caught off guard by that offensive line. When
03:48as expected, we'll run down some.
