  • last month
Matthew Chapter 11 describes John the Baptist sending disciples to ask Jesus if He is the expected Messiah. Jesus responds by pointing to His miracles and teachings. He then speaks to the crowds about John’s role as the forerunner and praises him. Jesus reproaches the unrepentant cities of Chorazin, Bethsaida, and Capernaum for not responding to His miracles. The chapter concludes with Jesus offering rest to those who are weary and burdened, inviting them to take His yoke and learn from Him, for He is gentle and humble in heart.
