00:00The Whimsy Twins crowdsource all kinds of refuse to reuse in their art.
00:07This is one of the things we do with plastics, you know, a lot of them don't get recycled,
00:12so these are all orange juice bottles, Florida orange juice, so you basically take the labels
00:17off, paint them, and then do designs.
00:19This tree will get fancier as we work on it.
00:24And this is one of the things we do with the blue bottles, so we have three or four bottle
00:28trees on the property, one with Sky Vodka bottles, and then Saratoga and wine bottles.
00:34And here are some of the jello molds and Bundt cakes that we've used.
00:38First you have to collect a couple thousand of them, and then you have a couple friends
00:41over and start gluing them onto boards, and the boards actually go in between the beams
00:46here.
00:47The word hoarder was nowhere to be found way back then, so we're just collectors, but then
00:52they all get used.
00:54You start seeing them in a different light for some reason.
00:57All the minutiae that can go in the landfill, it becomes an art supply, basically.
01:03And that's kind of a good core value, I think.
