00:00All right, everyone, welcome back into another live edition of the Patriots Beat podcast
00:27here on the CLNS media network, presented by our wonderful friends over at GameTime
00:32and Factor Meals.
00:34It's Brian Hines back as always with Alex Barth.
00:37Day five of training camp is over, done with, finished.
00:42First day in pads.
00:43We got some real football, some wet weather too down there at Gillette today, but we got
00:48to start off the football field, kind of off the football field.
00:53He was on the football field, but he didn't put any pads on.
00:55It was Matthew Judon.
00:57I thought we were going to be kind of done talking about his contract situation until
01:03we got something concrete that actually finalized, but that was not the case because even though
01:09we didn't put pads on, Matt Judon probably had the most eventful day out on the field
01:13today.
01:14And to break down his day, he ran out without his pads on, went over to play catch with
01:20the fans, which is how he starts every practice.
01:24But then once stretching started, he went back over and unlike the last four days where
01:29he would put on his jersey and helmet and stretch and start practice, he sat on a block
01:35of pads, whatever, blocking pads and watched stretching.
01:43And then when the team broke for positional drills, he went over and just kind of hovered
01:47around his position.
01:49Didn't seem like he was getting in the way at all, but just hovered and Gerard Mayo spoke
01:53with him when he was sitting on the pads.
01:55And then when they broke, he eventually came back, looked like kind of an animated conversation.
01:59There are a lot of palms in the air, some shoulder shrugs.
02:03That was the video NBC Sports Boston had on Twitter, on X, if you didn't see that.
02:08And then he left.
02:09He left the practice field after the second conversation with Gerard Mayo.
02:13About 10, 15 minutes later, I think it was, he came back up and went right to Elliott
02:18Wolfe, went right to Matt Groh, and had another sort of animated conversation with them.
02:23And then he left for good.
02:25So putting it together, putting the puzzle pieces together, he's obviously not happy.
02:31First day of pads, or he's told us he's not happy with his contract.
02:34First day of pads, didn't seem like he was interested in participating.
02:37And it kind of just seemed like Gerard Mayo told them, if you don't want to participate,
02:42just get out of here.
02:43Like, we don't want you on the field right now.
02:45So eventful day for Matt Judon.
02:48What was your kind of take on the whole situation there from him today?
02:54Not good.
02:55I mean, not good.
02:56The body language wasn't good.
02:58It was a looming presence, even after he was on the field, or after he was off the field,
03:06you still just kind of sense that tense, you know, it was tense.
03:12And this is a guy that we know wants a new contract.
03:15Like, it's pretty clear what he wants.
03:16There's no hidden messages here.
03:19And it felt like he was, you know, he, from where we were last week, where the Patriots,
03:27he talked about, Judon talked about the contract and the situation with the Patriots, he felt
03:30good.
03:31I don't know what happened from last week to this week, but suddenly it does not feel
03:35as optimistic about Matthew Judon.
03:37I think you see something like that and you really wonder what his immediate future is
03:42with the team, as in, like, will he be there week one?
03:47Kind of a weird move, right?
03:49After what he said last week, that he's, you know, open, he doesn't want to play on the
03:53deal, but he's open to it, right?
03:55He's going to honor the contract.
03:56He signed it, then to come out here a week later and just feel like I'm not participating.
04:04So and we're just speculating here.
04:06I need to be clear about that.
04:09He did say in there that ultimately he wants respect.
04:12And what if something happened to the negotiations where maybe he felt he was, he was willing
04:17to play under the contract, but something happened where he felt disrespected.
04:21So that's what I forget who might've been Taylor.
04:24I was saying, and we said after he said he had his comments last week, like kind of sounded
04:30like maybe comments, someone's comments that he would say, knowing that maybe something's
04:35close to getting done, right?
04:36Like, Oh, I'll play on my six and a half million dollar deal or whatever it is.
04:41And maybe knowing in the back of his mind, something's close to getting done.
04:44So maybe something did break down over the last week that shifted his opinion on that
04:49or, or, you know, lost some respect that he was talking about there.
04:52And also maybe it's worth noting that Devon Godshaw, the other guy who has a contract
04:57dispute, his agent drew Rosenhouse was in attendance today.
05:01And Rosenhouse had a long chat with Matt grow during practice, like right in the friends
05:07and family tent.
05:08And then after practice, Rosenhouse had a long chat with Devon Godshaw and then Mayo
05:11eventually joined that.
05:13So I don't know if that would impact Jude on, like if they know something behind the
05:18scenes is going to get done with Godshaw any moment, if Jude on is like, okay, I'm the
05:21last guy here, I probably shouldn't be the last guy.
05:24I've been your best player for the last three years.
05:27If that has something to do with it, I don't know.
05:29Did you read anything into the Godshaw situation either on its own with, you know, maybe a
05:33deal coming for him or would that affect Jude on a set all here?
05:38I mean, uh, on the Godshaw front, I feel like you bring the agent to town.
05:43That's a sign that you're near the finish line.
05:45If not done.
05:46He did that.
05:47Right.
05:48He did that two years ago when he got his bump Rosenhouse was in attendance.
05:51Like, yeah, I think, I think he came one time for like a Trent Brown thing too, when Trent
05:54Brown contract altered.
05:56So he's not coming to town to start the negotiations.
05:59He's coming to town to finish them.
06:00Let's put it that way.
06:02So in that sense, yeah, it feels like there's probably something either done or almost done
06:06with the Vaughn Godshaw as relates to Matthew Jude on.
06:10Could he see that and say, well, you paid everybody else in, not me.
06:15So I'm, I'm here waiting when you're ready.
06:19Like, could it be something like that?
06:20And I, I'm not the only one with that take.
06:22I saw Greg Bedard tweeted something like that out.
06:24Yeah.
06:25I could totally see that, that he's just like, it's a boiling point.
06:29It's a breaking point where, because I get it.
06:33How is he the one guy that doesn't get paid?
06:35You could argue he's been, at least as a player, the face of the franchise post Brady, you
06:42know, it was supposed to be Mack Jones.
06:43That obviously didn't work out.
06:44Cam Newton kind of had his one year, but has there been a player more synonymous with the
06:49Patriots post Brady than Matthew Jude on there?
06:51Hasn't.
06:52I mean, how is, when you, when you have this off season where you're handing out contracts
06:55left and right, how is he the one guy that doesn't get one?
06:59I understand the frustration if that's the case.
07:02Yep.
07:03So I guess just wrap up the contract talk here.
07:07How do you, I know you said maybe less optimistic about the future.
07:11How, how do you, how would you say this ends if you had to guess, are you still thinking
07:15they get something done here or I don't know, man, I mean, he was also, we can also add
07:21he was on, there was a clip that came out from a podcast that he'll be on or he was
07:26on.
07:27It will be released soon.
07:28And he said, you know, they have the most cap space in the league.
07:31Like why can't you just get something done?
07:33Like why can't you take care of me?
07:35He said he wrote up his own contract proposal and submitted it to them.
07:39They clearly didn't like that or it would have got signed already.
07:42But it's tough to, I think last week at this time we were saying, okay, we probably predict
07:49something's going to get done here, but now it definitely muddied the water a little bit.
07:54But if you had to predict what, what would you kind of say?
07:58I don't know.
07:59I mean, gut check.
08:00I think he's here, but call that like 55, 45.
08:04I mean, I, I think after a display like that, everything's on the table.
08:11Yep.
08:12Yeah.
08:13So we're right back to the contract saga.
08:16We'll see if he's out there tomorrow.
08:18I don't like if they're not in pads tomorrow, is he just going to practice tomorrow?
08:22And this is going to be a pad only thing that we'll just kind of have to wait and see.
08:28Pads are not, I don't know how you just come back out business as usual after something
08:32like that.
08:33And maybe he does.
08:34And maybe that's what they want to do.
08:35Just forget today.
08:36It would just be another weird twist to this story.
08:41Do you remember when you were a kid and you'd have a bunch of people together and I'm talking
08:46like little kid and like one kid would freak out.
08:49And like one of the parents have taken him in the other room and talk to him.
08:52And there, it was always that weird thing when he came back where like, nobody wanted
08:56to acknowledge it, but like it took a couple of minutes for him to like, for the, the climate
09:00to reacclimate.
09:01Like, isn't there a little bit of that?
09:04Yeah.
09:05Yeah.
09:06I could definitely see that if, especially after this, if he came back.
09:08So we can move on though to the, the on-field stuff and we'll, we'll start with the defense
09:15speaking of judan.
09:16Well, I guess first day of pads, but as a whole, we were kind of talking down there
09:22between the judan situation and then the scary Christian bar more situation yesterday.
09:28And maybe the way the rain, the weather had something to do with this.
09:31It was kind of like a lower tempo, lower energy first day of pads.
09:35At least it felt like than usual.
09:38But we saw some one-on-one work in the trenches.
09:43We saw, and then lots of, you know, the typical practice, how it's been lots of sevens, lots
09:48of 11s, lots of, lots of team work, but we can start on the defense.
09:53We can start in the trenches because they have to replace Christian bar more from a
09:57football perspective.
09:58And if Matthew judan's not out there, they're going to have to replace Matthew judan.
10:02So I don't know.
10:03Did you notice any players who saw an increased role today at theirs guy spots or anyone impressed
10:09you now that we finally got a little bit more of a look at that front seven with the, with
10:13the contact and with the pads on the one.
10:17So the more reps was Tristan Hill, the defensive tackle, it was mostly with the second team,
10:24but he hadn't been repping a ton at all in team before that.
10:26So maybe somebody they're getting better, uh, ready for a bigger role.
10:30Hill's an interesting player.
10:31He's a second round pick in 2019 with the Cowboys was in Dallas for three and a half
10:36years, but just never caught on.
10:38He had a slow start.
10:39He got hurt at one point towards ACL, missed a season.
10:42I think he got enough.
10:43He was suspended at one point.
10:44He got a fight or something.
10:45Um, so he was there for three and a half years, kind of bounced around, signed with the Patriots
10:50last year on the practice squad, only played in one game, but you know, old school Patriots
10:55Belichick.
10:57This would be like, he's the profile of the, they found this guy on the scrap heap and
11:02now look at him.
11:03He's a contributor kind of player.
11:04And obviously Belichick was the one who found him, signed him.
11:09That more athletic defensive tackle, you know, attacking defensive tackle, they Daniel
11:14qualities, the guy you figure will step up, but now you need a backer for Daniel quality.
11:18I saw Tristan Hill repping more as for the, like who played well, I thought on the edge
11:24and this is more of a Judon thing than a bar more thing.
11:27Oh, Shane Jimenez had a really good day.
11:29There was one 11th appear, uh, one 11th period where he was just, he was, he wrecked the
11:34whole thing on himself.
11:35I mean, multiple plays where he was, was stepping up and putting an edge to things.
11:39He had a sack.
11:40He had, I think two run stuffs during that period.
11:41And he had a good spring too, when they were kind of thin on the edge and guys didn't report,
11:45he was able to, to leave a Mark.
11:48So he's a guy that I kind of penciled in as could be a sleeper for a roster spot and got
11:54off to a good start.
11:55Yeah.
11:56Yeah.
11:57I definitely had him.
11:58He gave Shooks a core for kind of the business and one of those 11 on 11 plays at least two
12:02or three pressures.
12:03And, uh, probably, as you said, a would be sack there.
12:06The other guy I'll add, uh, for the defensive line, maybe looking to replace Christian bar
12:11more a little bit is Armand Watts, who was, you know, lower level free agent signing,
12:16uh, back in March from, from Pittsburgh.
12:19But he mentioned this is nothing new to him.
12:22Like he was in Minnesota one year and Mike Pierce, their big defensive tackle went down
12:26and he stepped up and he had a career year, he had five sacks that year.
12:30And then, you know, he was a limited, more of a limited role in Pittsburgh last year,
12:34but some of his analytics, like if you, if you look at his true past, I think it's in
12:38PFF, it's like true pass sets.
12:41And then his win rate, like he was third or fourth in the league a month, uh, defensive,
12:45defensive tackles, interior defensive lineman there.
12:47So, and he spoke after practice, you're obviously not going to replace Christian bar more one
12:52on one, but if you can get some of these guys, if you can get Tristan Hill, if you can get
12:55Arman Watts, if you get maybe Jeremiah farms and on the early downs, if these guys can,
13:00you know, combine and do their job and try to like replace 75, 80% of them, that that's
13:06how you have to replace the guy like Christian bar more there.
13:09So, uh, agree upfront with you.
13:12Definitely.
13:13Jimenez is a guy who, who stood out there, uh, on day one.
13:16Um, is it Ximena's or Jimenez Ximena's?
13:19I don't know.
13:20That's a good, I've been so bad because I've heard it.
13:26Yeah.
13:27Like try to look it up, like how the announcers are doing it, but I've heard announcers do
13:29it different ways.
13:30So I gotta, I don't know if he's going to be making plays.
13:32We got to find out.
13:33I don't think we've talked to him since he signed.
13:34We haven't.
13:35He signed like super late.
13:36Yeah.
13:37He, uh, he'll, he, he keeps making plays like this though.
13:42He'll talk.
13:43Yeah.
13:44A hundred percent.
13:45So, um, yeah, he'll be active, especially if judo is like this and Josh Uche got kicked
13:50out of practice today.
13:51Quick whistle on that one.
13:54It was a little scrum with chooks, a core for, it looked like, you know, Uche just gave
13:59him one of those like straight arms up to the chin area after a pass rush and, and they
14:04got in and a little bit and, uh, they kicked Uche right out and a core for just missed
14:09one rep, but he's, he got to stay in for the rest of the practice.
14:11So, uh, that was kind of the front seven report I'd say, unless any linebackers stand out
14:18to you.
14:19Not too much from them today, but I don't know anything yet and not, not, I'm not much
14:25from that group, but, uh, secondary kind of a rough one for Alex Austin, even though he's,
14:32he's been kind of arrow pointed up to start the spring and start the summer.
14:36He gave up a deep ball.
14:39He gave up two deep balls, one to Taekwon Thornton and one to Jayvon Baker who continues
14:43just to make big plays every day.
14:45We can talk about more him later, but, uh, I thought it was kind of the first down practice
14:51for Alex Austin, but did you see any, anything from him or any of those other secondary players
14:56out there today?
14:57Uh, rough day for him.
14:58I would say he's built up enough good practices that you kind of look at it and say, all right,
15:03he had a down day.
15:04I'll check in with him again tomorrow.
15:06Um, elsewhere in the secondary, we saw Marcus Jones play some safety, which we've kind of
15:11seen them mix a few guys in and John Jones did a little bit.
15:15He has, uh, Marcus Jones continues to just be great this, this summer.
15:19He, uh, not another pass breakup today, but just like tight coverage kind of took away
15:23a window.
15:24I think that was pretty much it in the secondary.
15:27I mean, that ran the ball a lot.
15:28So yeah, definitely as is, as is typical for the first day of bat.
15:32Yeah, definitely.
15:33Kind of a quieter day back there.
15:35I mean, yeah, like Drake May's first four reps and 11s or three or four reps were all
15:40done.
15:41So kind of a quieter day in the secondary there.
15:43Oh, Kyle Duggar had an interception, which kind of ripped it right out of Mitchell Wilcox's
15:48hands.
15:49Um, we'll get to Mitchell Wilcox.
15:51Yeah.
15:52We'll get to Mitchell Wilcox rough one for him, but, um, yeah, kind of quite like they
15:57didn't do one-on-ones with wide receivers and defensive backs today.
16:00So a little bit quieter of a day for them with the pads on.
16:03So, uh, anything else, defense wrap up defense, anything else you have there?
16:08I think, uh, that was mostly it.
16:10We can't say, uh, Gerard Mayo did give an update on Christian Barmore.
16:15It wasn't much of an update, but he touched on it to open his, his press conference.
16:18He just said, no timetable for a return, you know, all these situations are different,
16:23but he is out of the hospital.
16:24He's not in the hospital anymore.
16:25And he said he was, uh, at least doing well, he was in good spirit.
16:28So we'll continue to wait and see on Christian Barmore there, but I believe that will do
16:34it for the defense.
16:35We'll take a very quick break.
16:37We'll hear from our friends over at game time, and then we will come back and talk
16:41about the offensive performance out there today.
16:44I got to talk to you guys about game time, which is the authorized ticket marketplace
16:48of major league baseball.
16:49And it makes getting tickets faster and easier because prices on the game time app actually

17:20the Yankees, where you can see all-star game MVP, Jaron Duran, as the Red Sox continue
17:25to make their playoff push.
17:27And if you're in the Boston area, if you're around Fenway, cask and flag and bleacher

18:12I was looking up an O'Shane Ziminez highlight reel during that break.
18:17This announcer said like Ziminez with a Z almost, I don't know, can you like, what is
18:25that from?
18:26Yeah, that was Giants, Giants.
18:34That was his first sack in 2019 O'Shane Ziminez it is.
18:38So that's what we're all with for now, unless we talk to him and he tells us for Ron and
18:43different.
18:44Um, actually there's probably a pronunciation on online, but, uh, whatever we did get the,
18:49we did get the media book yesterday.
18:51Yeah.
18:53Pull that up.
18:54Ask me a question and pull it.
18:57All right.
18:58I'll yeah.
18:59I'll tee you off first and then I'll, I'll, I'll look this up.
19:01Um, offense, kind of a tale of two units I would say today, but we'll start with the
19:07starting offense, which is still run by Jacoby Brissett felt like they gained some positive
19:14momentum out there today.
19:15It wasn't perfect by all means, but it was a solid day for them and Jacoby Brissett.
19:21It felt like the past protection was a little cleaner.
19:25They opened up some holes in the run game, specifically broke some outside, uh, some
19:30of those outside zone runs.
19:32So what did you see from Jacoby and kind of that whole unit?
19:37Because it seems again, like they kind of took a step forward there with the full pads
19:41on for that.
19:42Well, I'll start here.
19:43Jacoby Brissett's been really good.
19:44Jacoby Brissett, you know, we use the term stacking days in camp where you're just getting
19:49a little bit better every day and it starts to look like linear growth.
19:52And that's what Jacoby Brissett has done here early in camp.
19:55He's gotten off to a fantastic start.
19:57The big thing is even when the blocking hasn't been great, we'll get to the offensive line.
20:01I actually think the top offensive line had a solid day today.
20:04They're fine.
20:05I didn't blow anybody away, but they were fine.
20:06But even when it hasn't been great, his ability to, to make things work and throw off platform
20:12and uh, you know, extend plays and get creative has been apparent.
20:16Uh, I don't, he hasn't exactly been Patrick Mahomes out there, but I compared to expectations,
20:23I'd say he's been pretty good.
20:24And with Drake may going through some growing pains, that's encouraging because he's allowed,
20:31you know, he had, uh, two to two throws Taekwon Thornton today, right in the bread basket
20:36to deep ball a J Vaughn Baker, really good ball placement.
20:39Some of the throws he's made a Jalen Polk.
20:41You're not having your young receivers go through the growing pains along with your
20:47young quarterback.
20:48And as Drake may maybe needs a little more time, Jacoby Berset at the very least, like
20:54this isn't me saying they're going to win eight games because Jacoby Berset is going
20:57to be comeback player of the year.
20:59But at the very least Jacoby Berset is giving them something where their young receivers
21:03can still develop even with Drake may a little bit behind.
21:05So that's a long way from anything overly positive, I know, but it's a small victory
21:13in this time of year.
21:14Sometimes you take those small victories.
21:16Yep.
21:17So quick time out.
21:18They have it Ximenez too in the media guide.
21:21So Ximenez, that's what we're rolling with O'Shea Ximenez.
21:25The N is silent, right?
21:27It's not O'Shea.
21:28It's O'Shea.
21:29You just closed it.
21:30I suck.
21:31I just put it back and I left the page.
21:35They only have pronunciation for his first name.
21:38So I guess, or for his last name, I mean, so I think it's O'Shea.
21:43That one sounded pretty consistent when I was listening.
21:45Now we got to ask him for his first name pronunciation.
21:47All right.
21:48We're halfway there.
21:49We'll just call it Ximenez for now.
21:51Ximenez, O'Shea Ximenez.
21:53Okay.
21:54But, um, yeah, Jacoby just, he's been steady kind of throughout camp and like, I'd agree.
22:01I'd say this was, uh, his best day and he finally started connecting on some of those
22:06downfield shots, I think, which is one of the areas early on that may kind of had the
22:11upper advantage.
22:12He, he had two deep to Taekwon Thornton, one like beautiful over the shoulder, right in
22:17the bucket.
22:18I think the Patriots social posted that one.
22:20Uh, and then, and then two really to Javon Baker, one that he went up and over and he
22:24dropped another one like right in the bucket down the left sideline, but Baker wasn't able
22:29to bring it in.
22:30So I thought he's looked, you know, very good for, for what Jacoby Brissett kind of is at
22:35this point.
22:36And, um, yeah, if you, if you're not ready for May and looking at Drake May and his first
22:43day in pads, he didn't look like someone who might be ready to start week one.
22:46Like I think you're, you could be pretty confident with Jacoby Brissett, with his experience
22:51in the system and the play and the performance he's shown you so far, I, you know, you feel
22:57pretty confident maybe with him rolling in, uh, to the regular season here as your week
23:01one starter.
23:02Yeah.
23:03We're a bit of a ways from that, but he looks comfortable.
23:08He's building some chemistry with these receivers.
23:10Like if Drake May had gotten off to the start, we'd be doing backflips, but the difference
23:17is Jacoby Brissett is in his thirties and has been in the NFL for almost a decade.
23:21Yeah.
23:22Yeah.
23:24Steady has been the word the last few days I've been used to describe Jacoby Brissett,
23:29which is what you would expect and want from kind of this bridge, um, quarterback.
23:34So I think just that, that unit as a whole with him at the helm, it looked pretty good
23:38today, probably their best day of the summer.
23:41Again, it wasn't great.
23:42There were still a lot of penalty laps.
23:45I think with him, they had two snap infractions.
23:51I'm counting up here.
23:52One was remandary Stevenson and one was both tackles on the same play Caden Wallace and
23:57chief score for us.
23:58So they had laps there.
23:59Um, there was another lap with, uh, Joe Milton and it was Tyrone Wheatley too.
24:05So, and then one time they, they sent the whole team for, for a lap.
24:09So still some, some stuff to clean up there, but yeah, I think it's just been steady, uh,
24:13for Jacoby Brissett, but Drake May was kind of the different story.
24:17And I told everyone yesterday, Barth jinxed it cause he said he was going to come back
24:20and bounce back after kind of the new erratic day, uh, yesterday struggled with some accuracy
24:27issues.
24:28Again, he threw the interception we talked about earlier to Mitchell Wilco or Kyle Duggar
24:32was intended to Mitchell Wilcox.
24:34I think we both agreed that maybe Mitchell Wilcox could have done a little bit more.
24:39It was just kind of a short pass out in the left flat and it was a little behind Mitchell
24:44Wilcox, but he got his hands on it and then Kyle Duggar just wrestled it away from him.
24:49So he threw the interception.
24:51He had like one really bad miss just over the middle.
24:54You didn't even know who, who it was going to.
24:57Uh, the second unit, the offensive line wasn't as good as the first unit.
25:02He dealt with a lot of pressures, but, um, just, it wasn't an overall clean day from
25:08Drake May where, you know, he, we said he was erratic yesterday.
25:11You want to see how he bounced back if he, you know, cleaned up some fundamentals would
25:15come out here and look sharper today.
25:17We didn't really see that from him.
25:19So what, what'd you think on his day in any, I mean, I don't think we're hitting the panic
25:24button, but just any concern there with, you know, two kind of poor days, I don't want
25:30to say really bad, but just poor days in a row.
25:33Yeah.
25:34So for starters, I don't even think the interception was one of his worst throws.
25:36I don't mean that to kick him.
25:37I just mean Mitchell Wilcox needed to compete for that ball more like that throw to me wasn't
25:43necessarily the issue.
25:44That's just him being aggressive.
25:45The issue to me is he's just not seeing the field.
25:49Great.
25:50Especially pre-snap, which this is kind of what we talked about with him being a developmental
25:55player and people say, well, how can he be a developmental player?
25:58Look at him throw on the run.
25:59Look how far he can throw the ball.
26:00Look how hard he can throw the ball.
26:02The physical tools are still undeniable.
26:03We're not taking away from any of that, but this ain't the ACC anymore.
26:08And there was one play today, Brian, I think I was standing next to you for this, where
26:13I, there's like six or seven guys up on the line of scrimmage.
26:16And in my mind, I'm going like, I don't know for sure it's a blitz, but like, you've got
26:21to be ready to throw right against this look.
26:24And he had, he ended up having, like, I don't know this at the time, but Jayvon Baker on
26:28a slant on the backside one-on-one, and that's a pretty textbook.
26:33And I don't know exactly what the play call is, but general school thought if you have
26:37the blitz slant on the backside, you hear about throwing into the blitz all the time,
26:42right?
26:43Because of somebody's blitzing, they're vacating space.
26:46And if you have a receiver entering that space, there's a potential to, you know, for a play
26:50there.
26:51If you can take advantage of it.
26:52Blitz comes off the left side, crash it.
26:55Baker runs a slant behind it.
26:57If he just pops that ball out and he had the time to make that quick throw, it's the Cajun
27:02booty touchdown against the Packers last year.
27:04I mean, he's, it's Baker to the house instead.
27:08That was a call back the Cajun booty preseason instead.
27:12So the blitz is coming from his left.
27:15So he rolls away from it, rolls all the way out to his right.
27:18He's running away and he's looking for something.
27:20And once he gets within a couple of feet of the sideline, like right around the numbers,
27:23he just throws the ball away because he realized it's not there.
27:26Took half the field away, had a ton of pressure, you know, maybe in a game he's a little more
27:30willing to run, but that's one where he would, he, and he was frustrated after and he clearly
27:35got caught off guard.
27:37So this just comes with reps.
27:39This just comes with reps in the film room.
27:40This comes with reps on the field.
27:41Like he's got to get used to digesting what he's seeing and re reading and reacting quicker.
27:49And that'll come.
27:50That'll come in time.
27:51And I'm not talking about years.
27:53Like he can still get there by call it October, but this is kind of why even after he had
27:59those big first couple of days, and again, I said the first couple of days, I liked the
28:03approach because he's still being aggressive and he was trying things.
28:06He was giving himself opportunities to learn.
28:09And I said, that comes with ups and downs the last couple of days.
28:13Some of what he's tried to do is come with downs.
28:15Now we need to see how we adjust to it and okay.
28:18Can you learn from what you did and figure out ways to make plays against those looks?
28:23That's what we'll be looking for here in the next few weeks.
28:25Yeah.
28:26And again, it's his first NFL padded practice, right?
28:29You would expect maybe there's some bumps along the way here.
28:33It's not going to look perfect, but the one thing I want to see with Drake may, and we
28:38were talking about this as we were leaving Gillette, I think Arthur was kind of getting
28:41to this in the, in the chat here, he says, does Drake may play with the so-called starters
28:45until he does?
28:46You won't know anything like I would love to see him rep with like the top offensive
28:51line and the, and the top, some of the top receivers that he's be able to grow chemistry
28:56with because again, he wasn't perfect.
28:59There were some misses, but I went back through it.
29:02He had three drops, which was pet way.
29:06And then two from Mitchell Wilcox, he had the Wilcox, you know, the interception that
29:09we both thought Mitchell Wilcox could have fought a little bit better for, he had a miscommunication
29:14with David Wallace, which resulted in an interception.
29:17He had at least, you know, two sacks and then he had that throw away where he maybe could
29:22have read it a little better, but like the minutes was in his face right away.
29:26It was a minute has got it there.
29:27And then one incompletion where he got like knocked over from the defensive line.
29:32So he didn't get a lot of help out there with the second unit again, like he wasn't perfect,
29:37but I would love to see him get to the point.
29:40And you were saying again, when we were leaving Gillette, like it took Matt Jones after the
29:45first preseason game, then they finally started, you know, weaving them in with the starting
29:50unit and maybe splitting some of those reps up a little bit more.
29:53So that, that's what I would like to see at some point here, maybe after the preseason
29:58game is a good time to do that because you still have to get Jacoby Bursette ready if
30:02you need him to start, but yeah, may, he didn't get much help.
30:06Like he wasn't great, but he didn't get much help out there from, from the rest of the
30:09guys with them today.
30:10So I was like, and some of that too, like we'll get to the offensive line.
30:14Like it seems they have continuity up front with their, with their tackles.
30:19This was the third day in a row, right?
30:21Third day in a row.
30:22You've seen Caden Wallace on the left side, Chooks Corp on the right side.
30:25Now Gerard Mayo said before practice today, his timeline for the offensive line is by
30:30the third preseason game.
30:32I think that means like to finalize it, but it does seem like this is the group, right?
30:36It does seem like this is the group they're starting with.
30:38Like I don't think they're going to be constantly changing between now and then.
30:41I think the idea is, you know, give this group a week, maybe give them that first preseason
30:44game and then reassess.
30:46But now that they have the first group set, they can also get the second group set and
30:50you can get some continuity there and then that will help.
30:52So the second group is going to come along too.
30:55Yep.
30:56But, uh, any, before we jump officially to the offensive line, anything else on Jacoby
31:02or Drake, or we can also say it was still pretty rotation heavy between Zappi and Milton
31:09today and that third quarterback spot, I thought Milton was actually pretty impressive.
31:12He had a few completions underneath, which like, that's what you want to see with him.
31:16We know he has a big arm, but can you control it underneath?
31:19So just anything else in that quarterback room before we go all in on the offensive
31:23line?
31:24Yeah, no, it was good today.
31:25Milton was good.
31:26It's only in completion was a drop by Javon Baker and it wasn't like a Joe Milton drop
31:29where, Hey, Joe, take something off and it was, I was a hard throw, but it was a very
31:34catchable ball.
31:35I wouldn't say there's anything that extreme about it.
31:37So he was good day.
31:38He did outrep Zappi, neither one went in sevens.
31:42Milton went twice in 11, Zappi went once, although Zappi got one play during one of
31:47Milton's periods.
31:48After that fumbled snap where Milton came off for a play, but I, Joe Milton still looks
31:54like QB three.
31:55Now that's his thing.
31:56Stand right now.
31:57Do they want him as the third quarterback on the season?
31:59Because that means that Jacoby reset gets her.
32:01Are you playing him over Drake may?
32:03I don't know that they want Joe Milton to be the first rookie quarterback they play
32:06this year.
32:07Maybe they bring in somebody else.
32:09Nathan Rourke did get cut yesterday by the giants, but between those two guys, I mean,
32:15you can't.
32:17And I, I don't think it's been that close.
32:19Yep.
32:20I'd agree with you there.
32:22So impressive, impressive day for him.
32:24And he had the interception yesterday, so good to see him kind of bounce back in that
32:28fashion.
32:29But offensive line, you hinted at it.
32:31We got Caden Wallace back at left tackle a true score for back at right tackle.
32:36We were so close to getting the same five upfront for three straight practices, but
32:41David Andrews was absent today.
32:44We'll undisclosed reason.
32:46We don't know why.
32:47Hopefully nothing serious because we can talk about, we've talked about the center position
32:51a lot behind him and we can get into that a little bit later, but let's start with the
32:56tackles.
32:57I'll just say on center real quick, like Nick lever, mafia, bad snap, but Nick lever was
33:00good today.
33:01Elevated with that top offense.
33:03He was good and he was good in one on ones too.
33:05So yeah, that's a spot we'll keep watching as we mentioned, Jake Andrews has been on
33:10pump.
33:11Who's the depth.
33:12And now if David Andrews is set to miss time again, we don't know what the, the reason
33:16for his absence was, but if he's set to miss time, that becomes even more important.
33:19But on the tackles, good day from Caden Wallace.
33:23I would say at left tackle, he held up nicely and one on ones.
33:28He was impressive in team drills.
33:30Like he held his own, he didn't get beat much.
33:32So some more confidence may be building.
33:35And also he's spoken very highly of like city.
33:39So talked after practice, he said, like he's picking things up very, very quickly.
33:44Just tons of praise for Caden Wallace, which has been kind of a reoccurring thing from,
33:48for his teammates.
33:49So smart kid, but more confidence from your point of view and, and maybe that left tackle
33:56position with a good early impression by Caden Wallace.
34:00Yeah.
34:01Long way to go, but good start.
34:02And you see why they felt like he had the ability to play left tackle now, seeing it,
34:08right.
34:09Projecting it and it actually happening are two different things, but I think his on top
34:14of his athleticism and that's obviously a part of it.
34:16What I was really impressed by today, there were a couple of times where, you know, the
34:19defense is running some, at least for this time of year, a little more advanced rush
34:24games up front.
34:25And he was hanging with it.
34:27He was hanging in there and you know, there are times maybe he was half a step late, but
34:31I would say for a rookie playing a new position, he handled some of the more intense stuff
34:36they threw at him, which was much more intense stuff to come.
34:39But some of the more intense stuff for day five of camp that they threw at him, he handled
34:43well.
34:44So I was encouraged by that a core force that I get nervous watching him and I, this might
34:49just be a me thing.
34:50Like, because I, Evan talked about this, like his technique is very unorthodox and it's
34:54always been that way.
34:55Did his feet look like really close together?
34:58They look really close together and like out in front.
35:02Like, yeah, I don't know.
35:03He always looks like he's about to fall backwards and he does weird set up.
35:07Yeah.
35:08And he also does.
35:09And I mean, a lot of tackles do this.
35:10Trent Brown did this and I, I liked the Trent Bratton did this.
35:12So I won't fall to core for it, but I'll point it out.
35:15I'm starting to notice it.
35:16He does the thing these guys do where they're not going on the snap or on the verbal snap
35:23count.
35:24They know what the call is in their head and they're trying to get that like quarter second
35:29is big with this.
35:31Orlando Brown is big with this because the idea is, and you know, Trent Brown would get
35:35called for one false start a game and people get annoyed because that seems like a lot
35:40for the other 50 something plays a game where they don't call it and he's getting that extra
35:44head start.
35:45Sometimes it's very beneficial.
35:46So choose a core for, it looks like he's one of those, at least today in practice, uh,
35:50in the, uh, yesterday too, I noticed, I think he's one of those guys where he's gonna really
35:56play with that snap count and there may be some false start penalties, but you hope that
36:01it, you know, the good outweighs the bad, that he's making the most of those opportunities
36:05when it's not called.
36:06Yup.
36:07Uh, was he highly penalized last year?
36:09I was trying to pull that up on your question.
36:11You talk, I'll, I'll, I'll pull it up.
36:13Um, but yeah, I didn't think he was as good as, uh, he had eight penalties last year.
36:19Okay.
36:20I don't know.
36:21How many games did he play?
36:24If he had eight and 17 games for a tackle, yeah, I played, I started seven games last
36:31year.
36:32Yeah.
36:33That's a little high.
36:34Yeah.
36:35I don't know if that's a little high for seven starts.
36:36What that ranked among tackles here.
36:39Let me see.
36:40Let me see.
36:41Let me see.
36:42But yeah, I didn't think he was, uh, as good as Caden Wallace.
36:46He'll, he lost some one-on-ones, uh, and then he was 26 among tackles.
36:51And what'd you say?
36:52He started eight games last year, seven games.
36:56That's not great.
36:57Yeah.
36:58That's a little high, but, uh, yeah, he lost some one-on-ones team, team drills.
37:02Like he was at some of those as a men as losses.
37:06So it wasn't as perfect for him.
37:08He got in the fight with Uche.
37:10Uh, so we'll, we'll keep watching that, that spot and maybe kind of the other rookie laden
37:18Robinson might've been one of the most impressive offensive lineman, uh, had a really good win
37:23against Dietrich wise.
37:24I think a lot of people were talking about, about that on Twitter, just kind of one punch
37:28stunned Dietrich wise.
37:29Uh, then he held up in 11th, he kind of was at the point of attack for one of Kevin Harris's
37:35long run.
37:36So kind of what you would expect.
37:39He's a physical guy.
37:40Pads come on, he kind of flashes for the first time here, but you think if maybe this trend
37:46continues and laden Robinson is looking really good and chooks core for, isn't looking so
37:52good.
37:53Are we going to be talking about bumping Mike and window back out to tackle laden Robinson
37:57slides up the right guard?
37:59Could you see that, uh, in our future somewhere and just did laden Robinson pop up on your
38:04radar today too?
38:05There.
38:06Yeah.
38:07There was, there was one where him and Calvin Anderson, one play where him and Calvin Anderson
38:09just opened up a massive hole for Kevin Harris in the run game.
38:12I think it was the B gap.
38:14Um, we would be as between garden tackle.
38:17I know what I'm saying.
38:18I think it was, um, that conversation you're talking about.
38:22I mean, I could see it, but again, they, they, they have this group.
38:27Let's see what this group can do.
38:29That's something we revisit after the first preseason game to me.
38:32Yup.
38:33I'm going through there, but encouraging from the two rookies there.
38:36Uh, just speaking of big Mike, he was their best offensive lineman in one-on-one.
38:40So shocker.
38:42Good.
38:43Good to see that.
38:44I know.
38:45Shocking.
38:46Shocking.
38:47Shocking.
38:48I don't mean to be like, you know, good.
38:49They need him to be the anchor.
38:50He better be good.
38:52If he doesn't have it, they're in massive, especially now of David Andrews is out and
38:57he's got maybe Nick Leverett and score for on his two sides.
39:01They need him to be a, that solid block in there.
39:04And he looked like that, uh, today, uh, lastly, O line, I just had like the backup tackles
39:12weren't very good, but Darian Lowe was a mass again, and he was still on the right side.
39:16Didn't notice too much of Calvin Anderson playing that left side, but
39:20I thought Calvin Anderson had a decent day, but I, and I wonder if some of that is Calvin
39:24Anderson is their backup left tackle and they want to get him ready there.
39:27Yeah.
39:28But that's one where I might switch that and Anderson realistically is your third tackle.
39:33You want them ready at bowl spots, but Darian Lowe is a much better left tackle than right
39:36tackle.
39:37We know that just based on history.
39:40Um, but I, you're torn because I think they, they want Calvin Anderson getting reps at
39:44left tackle.
39:45Yup.
39:46So we'll keep watching that, that depth unit there, cause that's very important as well.
39:51Um, off you, we mentioned another botch snap, anything else from any of those off offensive
39:57linemen that you had today and, uh, Tyrone Wheatley had to run a lap.
40:02I think that's it.
40:03Yup.
40:04Yup.
40:05But, uh, that the top unit, I think it was a step forward.
40:07And again, like the fact that they were kind of executing and opening some holes in that,
40:11that zone run game was encouraging.
40:13We saw two years ago how difficult that can be, uh, that zone run game, getting that down.
40:18It takes a lot of reps and to kind of be opening those holes this early, I thought was a encouraging
40:25sign there.
40:26But, uh, let's get to the rest of the offense and some of the pass catchers.
40:30And we can talk about running backs a little bit for the first time here today as well.
40:33But before we do that, we'll take one last, very quick break and we'll hear from our friends
40:37over at factor meals and then get to the rest of the office.
40:41I have to talk to you guys about a new sponsor and training camp is upon us.

41:52All right.
41:55So pass catchers, uh, we talked about Jayvon Baker a little bit while we were doing quarterbacks,
42:00but just another day and another big play.
42:02He went up and kind of Moss to Alex Austin and Jalen Hawkins.
42:06He did have the one, the one drop with Joe Milton and then he couldn't bring in another
42:12one, uh, kind of downfield.
42:15He kind of had a dive for it from Jacoby percent.
42:17Maybe he could have got his hands on it, but, um, you're seeing the big playability and
42:21just the movements.
42:22Like we've talked how maybe he wants, they want him in like that the Vontae Parker role,
42:26but he's such a better athlete.
42:28Like he moves a lot different than the Vontae Parker does.
42:31So I think the, it's been an exciting last two days for Jayvon Baker, even though you're
42:36seeing like some of the drops, like he had a high drop percentage last year in college,
42:41but I think it's been mostly encouraging from him, uh, especially these, these last two
42:46or three days.
42:47Yeah.
42:48He, he keeps getting open and it definitely felt like early on he was playing catch up,
42:52just miss time in the spring.
42:53And then it was with the, you know, he's behind some guys didn't expect him to be behind in,
42:57in reps early on, but he's now getting regular reps and he's, he's open all the time.
43:02And you're right.
43:03He likes him catch a few more of these, but he's made some spectacular catches as well.
43:07And you have to, I'm very, very encouraged by what I've seen from him so far.
43:12Yep.
43:13Uh, are we doing Taekwon Thorin?
43:16We said, wait, yeah, I'm not buying in yet because this is, we, this is the Taekwon Thorin
43:24playbook to a tee.
43:26Go pads on.
43:27Oh, he's great.
43:28But we got to see what the pads on pads.
43:30Come on.
43:31Wow.
43:32He's had one or two good practices.
43:33And then there's going to be a day probably at the first preseason game.
43:36That's usually when it is, where he has like a monster practice.
43:38He's going to catch like three deep balls in the first 10 minutes.
43:41And in the third one, he's going to fall and hurt himself and we're not going to see him
43:44again.
43:45So like what?
43:46Well, today he had the diving catch and he landed.
43:49He survived.
43:50He did.
43:51Oh no.
43:52And then he's all right.
43:54I don't mean to make fun of him.
43:55Like he's had a good start to camp.
43:57He's definitely had a good start to camp and today was a good day.
44:00And those are effortless catches, great routes, all of it.
44:03But he's got to stay healthy through the summer.
44:06That's just what it comes down to.
44:07Like we've seen him kind of do this.
44:09I think part of the reason he struggled early in his career, it's not just like really Taekwon
44:14sucks.
44:15He's missed a lot of developmental time getting hurt during camp in that catches up to you.
44:20Like that was part of the problem with the kill area to kill Harry sucks.
44:23There's a reason guys suck.
44:25Guys don't just forget how to play football.
44:27And part of the reason I think Taekwon Thornton has struggled is the development stuff you
44:33work on in camp, especially for a guy that was more raw coming out of college.
44:36And I'm not saying he should have been picked where he was picked, but there's development
44:41pro development process he needs to go through.
44:43And the reality is you got games to get ready for October, November, December.
44:47You're not doing any of that developmental stuff.
44:49This is when you're doing it in the spring and in the summer.
44:52So well, and it's not me saying that if he's fully healthy, he's going to be amazing, but
44:58I like what I've seen so far.
45:00I'm just, it's, it's, he's not going to get me to buy in until it's week one and he's
45:04healthy.
45:05That's just where I'm at because I, I've seen this with him.
45:08I've seen it with the kill Harry.
45:10I've seen it with a number of receivers, a few flashy days, you get hurt and that all
45:14goes away.
45:15So I got to see him stay on the field, but credit where credit's due.
45:20He's been one of their better receivers through five days.
45:22Yep.
45:23Absolutely.
45:24Again, like you'd rather be having the good days than the, than the not good days.
45:27So I'm not too much else in the receiver room.
45:32I would say again, a lot of run, a lot of run game again with the first day of pads.
45:37So I mean, Jalen Polk is just still playing a lot.
45:40He had two catches.
45:42I believe he had one kind of go off his hands might've been a drop by the, it just looked
45:47like he wasn't ready for the ball.
45:48It was coming from Jacoby percent.
45:50So just, he's still really active.
45:53Um, I think that was really it for receivers.
45:56I don't know.
45:57Did anyone else stand out to you in that room today?
46:02Not positively.
46:03I mean, I'm guessing, yeah, Juju had another rough day, another rough day and it's just,
46:11it's going to be a real conversation.
46:13It's going to be a real conversation about what they're going to do with him when we
46:16get to the end of this thing.
46:17Yep.
46:18You're with it there.
46:19But, uh, tight end pass catchers.
46:22I mean, Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper are still very involved with Jacoby percent.
46:27Like he's going to the tight ends a lot.
46:31We talked about Mitchell Wilcox earlier who he's on the field a lot still, but you saw
46:37the results weren't great today.
46:39Like two drops, the interception went his way.
46:42So, uh, and Jaheim bell was limited too.
46:45He was out there that none of us saw him leave.
46:47And then all of a sudden comes back on with like a hoodie and sweats and his Jersey over
46:51his hoodie.
46:52So, uh, the quiet kind of start, he had some nice moments of one-on-ones yesterday, but
46:57overall it's been a pretty quiet summer, uh, from Jaheim bell there, but anything else
47:02to add in that, in that tight end room from today, I'll just backtrack on Wilcox a little
47:05bit.
47:06So I I've been saying a lot.
47:07I think he's going to make the team.
47:08Um, I've been saying that cause I think he's going to be dominant.
47:12Like I don't, I just, he's been out there a lot.
47:15He's a guy that is kind of right.
47:18Given the look of a guy that, that they have a plan for now, I, if he is going to make
47:22the team, he's a blocking tight end.
47:25He blocks, you shouldn't be him the ball a ton.
47:28Like, so the draw, like I still will see, maybe they saw the drops today and he's, we
47:33don't see a ton of him tomorrow.
47:35It's Jacob Warren or Michael Petway or somebody in that role.
47:38But like think Dwayne Allen, Mike Williams, right.
47:44As Michael Williams, the converted tackle from Alabama.
47:47Um, like I just think that if he's here, he's here to block, he's here for the goal line
47:54and he's here for short yardage to block and maybe, you know, they're just kind of seeing
48:00what he can do outside of that.
48:01And they look at it today and say, yep, goal line, tight end.
48:04Okay.
48:05Noted.
48:06But I, I still think he has a chance to make the team.
48:08I just, I think it's as a blocker, so we'll see what impact today has, but I'm not necessarily
48:13surprised.
48:14I mean, it was an excessive amount of drops in some of those areas.
48:18I wasn't expecting him to come out and be Travis Kelsey.
48:22Yeah.
48:23Yeah.
48:24He, he's a, he's a blocking tight end, but he was, uh, they targeted him a lot today
48:29and you saw the results like maybe you would expect.
48:32So we'll see if that plan maybe changes for Mitchell Wilcox.
48:35But again, the usage would indicate like he has a chance of making this team, but maybe
48:40that changes as we, as we move forward here.
48:42But, um, lastly, running back room, anyone stand out to you?
48:49First day of pads finally got some contact.
48:52We saw, I mean, Terrell Jennings is a physical runner.
48:55He had some pop in one of his runs, but, uh, it was still kind of the remandre and Antonio
49:01Gibson and Kevin Harris looked like he's kind of RB3 in that mix.
49:05But, uh, anyone in that running back room make an impact for you now that they got the
49:08pads on and kind of start implementing more of that run game.
49:12Um, yeah.
49:13So like you said, Terrell Jennings, it's just one play, but he, that's how you make an impact
49:18at the bottom of the depth charges, put his, put his shoulder right into Dell Pettis's
49:22chest.
49:23And I got an old from the crowd.
49:25You like seeing those guys run hard, but Kevin Harris moving well, did a good job, quick,
49:30you know, quick decisions, finding the hole showed some burst.
49:33He's been clearly in that lead, in the lead for that third back spot throughout camp.
49:38And he's been really good.
49:40He's been really good so far.
49:41Does he look a little quicker to you?
49:43He does look a little smaller, a little quicker.
49:45I wonder if he took a couple of pounds off in order to be a little lighter on his feet
49:48with in this system.
49:49That would make sense.
49:50Um, but good start for him.
49:52Yep.
49:53And then remandre and Gibson are, are what they are.
49:56I think the most exciting part about Gibson so far is, is his work as a pass catcher.
50:01Like they're moving them around.
50:02He had a screen that he took a while and then he had one that, you know, he was in
50:06the slot and it was just like a quick slant, but you know, Milton hit him in stride and
50:11it was a big game.
50:12Like that's something that offense has kind of been lacking.
50:14So, uh, uh, encouraging that he's out there a big role right away.
50:19I think, uh, that's someone a lot of us expect could be a good player for them this year.
50:25Antonio Gibson.
50:26So, uh, I believe that's all for the offense.
50:31Anything else to add or that we missed or in your notes?
50:35Yeah, I think that's it.
50:38So, uh, special teams, we saw no live field goals today, no live punts today.
50:46We saw a little bit of kickoffs.
50:48It was kind of weird though.
50:49They were like kicking it from the 50 yard line.
50:51They were just like, yeah, they weren't in the, in the regular formation.
50:54Now, Gerard Mayo said something before practice about how the, the league is still fine tuning
51:02the rules and that's made it tough for them to prepare.
51:05So I wonder maybe if there's a change coming that we even heard about, and I don't think
51:08they'd make that massive a change moving the ball, but just something in the way they're
51:12practicing it.
51:13So I just, I, I find it tough to take a ton out of that kickoff period.
51:17Cause there just wasn't, I don't know how much it reflected what they're actually going
51:21to do.
51:22But the one change that Chad Ryland told us after practice that we saw them doing the
51:26spring when they were laying the football flat on the tee, and then they were kind of
51:31kicking it.
51:32So it would land in the landing zone a little bit easier.
51:35The league has changed the rule.
51:37So that's no longer legal.
51:38Ryland said like the ball actually has to sit in the tee.
51:42So they don't have, they can't do that flat kick anymore for whatever reason.
51:46That's stupid.
51:47That, I hate that.
51:48I know.
51:49That's stupid.
51:50That's a fun little wrinkle.
51:51I know.
51:52No fun league strikes again.
51:54I hope we didn't ruin that.
51:55We probably put that on Goodell's radar and he's like, and this, you did this, Brian.
52:01Sorry, sorry, sorry.
52:03But yeah, no other real special teams.
52:08No.
52:09I think maybe we'll see them actually run this for real at some point, who knows.
52:13But and we'll, we'll probably get back to live field goals at some point there.
52:17But I believe that's our day five recap.
52:21So we'll be back tomorrow.
52:23We'll be live from Gillette Stadium for another crossover show with Mike and Taylor.

52:43Are you expecting them to be in pads again tomorrow?
52:46They have a day off.
52:48The day off and then, you know, kind of light end to the week.
52:52Yep.
52:53So hopefully an eventful day tomorrow.
52:55I don't know what the weather's looking like if we're going to have another rainy day or
53:00looks like it's going to be nice tomorrow.
53:01So good weather down there at Gillette pads should be back on with a day off on Wednesday
