00:00Let's get to tonight's baseball because we have a very thick slate.
00:08Everybody's playing tonight except Cleveland and Detroit, who played this afternoon.
00:13Guardians ended up winning that game five, nothing, Scotty.
00:16So a win for them.
00:17We'll start in Baltimore, where we mentioned that they split the double header yesterday
00:23at Camden Yards tonight.
00:26The Basset Hound, if he doesn't get traded in the next hour and 45 minutes.
00:30See, that's something else, Scotty, to be careful of here.
00:33I know that we're still a few hours out from first pitch in most of these games.
00:39Be mindful if a guy gets traded, you know, especially these starting pitchers, that they're
00:45not going to be out there.
00:46We know that Corbin Burns will be out there for Baltimore.
00:49That we are definitely assured of.
00:52Right now, Scotty, let me give you the updated number here for this one.
00:55It's 225 for the Orioles, plus 180 for the Jays, and an eight and a half.
01:01Well, look, Burns isn't getting traded, so I'm betting on Burns no matter what.
01:07If they trade Basset Hound, that's fine with me.
01:09I like Baltimore on a run line, minus about five, and I like the over.
01:16And I'll tell you why.
01:17You talked about Vlade is on fire hitting home runs, and I don't think they're going
01:26to score a ton of runs off of Burns tonight, but I think that depending on if, you know,
01:31and I'm not impressed with Basset.
01:33I think, you know, he's been average this year.
01:35Now, I know that they talk big about him, like the Mets would love him back and all
01:38this other stuff.
01:39Let's see if he gets moved.
01:40You know, if I'm them, I move him, because their season's over.
01:45They're not going anywhere.
01:46They're not going to a wildcard.
01:47They're not going to a division.
01:49They're done.
01:50So what is the point of keeping his expensive deal around?
01:54I would get rid of him before six o'clock, as sure as I'm sitting here, and they could
01:59get pieces for him.
02:01So let's see if they move him, but I'll bet on Baltimore and lay the run, run and a half.
02:06The Yankees are in for Philadelphia again against the Phillies.
02:09We told you a few minutes ago, Garrett Cole will not be pitching for the Yankees tonight.
02:14General fatigue, general body fatigue is what the Yankees are calling that.
02:19Cole apparently just spoke to the media, said he does not believe he's going to go on the
02:23I.L.
02:24He said he thinks he could pitch in just a couple of days.
02:26He said he's just feeling like he needs more time to recover between starts.
02:30It hasn't been there for him yet.
02:33So that means that Will Warren will start for the Yankees tonight.
02:37Aaron Nola will go for the Phillies.
02:41So I forget what it was earlier, Scotty, but now with Cole out, it's moved to minus
02:46155 for the Phillies, plus 130 for the Yankees, and the total up to nine and a half, in fact
02:5310.
02:54I'm seeing it bet MGM right now.
02:56All right.
02:57First of all, if they can tattoo Wheeler, then they can tattoo Nola.
03:04It's these bats that I'm betting on here.
03:07I don't care about Warren.
03:09Take the over.
03:10Then if it's going to be so many runs, there were 18 runs last night.
03:14Give me the over again.
03:15Give me the Yankees again.
03:16I'm going to get fat plus money on the Yankees with that lineup swinging the way they are
03:22all of a sudden like they won the Boston series.
03:25They come in and score 14 runs last night.
03:27I can't even fathom.
03:29They keep pitching to judge Soto jazz.
03:32It just won't end.
03:34I think it's bleeding into other hitters.
03:37Volpe hits a home run last night.
03:39Rice-Zeroni hits a home run.
03:41Both of those guys have been hitting about, Rice hitting 110, Volpe hitting around.
03:45For the last two months, he's hit about a buck and a half.
03:49Now all of a sudden, they're hitting because this guy shows up and everybody's hitting.
03:53I'll take a shot with him.
03:54The thing with the fatigue, we call that wussified here on Coast to Coast.
03:59Garrett Call with wussified conditions will not be able to pitch tonight because he's
04:05been wussified.
04:06We'll slide this one into the Marlins and the Rays are in Tampa tonight.
04:14Now this is another one.
04:15Be careful because both of these teams are trading lots of guys.
04:18Edward Cabrera and Jeffrey Springs are the starters.
04:21Minus 175 for the Rays, plus 145 for the Fish and a flat seven.
04:26I'm on the Rays at the drop because Cabrera, have you ever seen this guy?
04:31He gets runners on base, he starts throwing balls into the outfield.
04:35First base down the line, second base, he throws it to the center fielder.
04:39He's awful.
04:40He gives up lots of runs too.
04:42Give me the over in the Rays and I bet it this morning.
04:46The Cubs and the Reds will be together again in Cincinnati tonight to steel mill.
04:52Justin Steele for the Cubbies.
04:54Tony Santillan is going for Cincinnati in this one.
05:00Cubbies minus 130, plus 110 for the Reds and a big fat nine.
05:05Yeah, I think I'll go with U.S. Steele here in the Cubs.
05:10I hit that Reds bet last night, right?
05:15They were going against Tyone, right?
05:17He thought that I liked the price on the Reds and they did get it done with spires
05:22or whatever.
05:23So I'm going to go back to the Cubs tonight with U.S. Steele.
05:25I think he's pitched pretty decent lately.
05:29Twins and the Mets are at Citi Field.
05:32You'll have Sean Mania going for the Mets and David Festa is going for the Twinkies.
05:39Right now, Scotty, Mets minus 125, Twins plus 105 and an eight and a half.
05:45This guy Festa, Scotty, he has been banged around in his 14 innings.
05:50He's given up five homers.
05:52I did not target a Met in tater time tonight, but I would not mind if you wanted to add
05:57a couple.
05:58Yeah, I mean, they were hitting them last night.
06:01Alonzo.
06:02I like Alonzo, as always Lindor, Nimmo, the usual suspects and I'll tell you what.
06:08How about the Wink Man tonight?
06:10Get his first Met homer.
06:11Let's get the Wink Man in there.
06:13Why not?
06:14I like the Mets and Mania here over this guy.
06:17He's a batting practice pitcher.
06:20Indeed, Seattle and the Red Sox.
06:23Red Sox, of course, acquired James Paxton the other day.
06:27He will get on the bump tonight.
06:29Of course, he was in Boston a couple of years ago.
06:30Now, back with the Red Sox, Louie Castillo goes for Seattle minus 120 for the M's, even
06:37money for the Sox and a big ten and a half at Fenway.
06:41Look out.
06:42Yeah.
06:44I got to be honest, you know, I think every time they play there, it's everybody bets
06:49the over.
06:50I like the under.
06:51I think Big Maple is going to show up.
06:54I think he's going to baffle Seattle.
06:57I think Castillo is still low ERA, doesn't have the run support, but he's what, eight
07:03and ten or something like that.
07:05I think that's his numbers.
07:07He is eight and ten, but his numbers overall, a lot of innings, a lot of strikeouts, very
07:12few walks.
07:14I like the under, believe it or not.
07:15And I like Big Maple to upset Castillo at Fenway, I'll take Boston.
07:21Rangers and the Cardinals again at Bush.
07:23Max Scherzer and Lance Lynn are the starters tonight.
07:27Rangers minus 120, even money for the Redbirds and an eight and a half.
07:33Texas beat them last night.
07:34I'll bet on Mad Max at that price.
07:40Braves and the Brewers again in Milwaukee.
07:43Bryce Elder goes for the Braves.
07:45The Brewers are going to start Joe Ross tonight, it looks like.
07:49I've got this as a pick them right now, Scotty, minus 110 both ways with a flat nine.
07:54Well, I tried to bet on the Braves last night.
07:56It didn't work out.
07:57They got their ass beat eight to three.
07:59So I think I got to, you know, think that the Brewers bats are just flat out better.
08:04The Braves still have problems.
08:07They played really well at Citi Field.
08:10Those last two games I turned right around and couldn't score runs again last night.
08:13Give me the Brewers.
08:16Royals and the White Sox in Chicago.
08:18White Sox, of course, trying to snap the 15 game losing streak.
08:21They'll have Jonathan Cannon going tonight.
08:23Michael Waka Waka Waka for Kansas City, who's minus two bills on the road, plus 165 for
08:29Chicago and a flat nine.
08:32Well, I'll take the over for starters, and if I had to, I'd run line the Royals again.
08:38I did it last night and they covered with the Witt Grand Slam breakfast.
08:42I'll go Kansas City again, 16 losses in a row for the White Sox.
08:47They may never win another game.
08:50They might not, especially if they strip the team down even more here in the next hour
08:55and a half.
08:56Pirates and the Astros again at minute made.
08:59Hunter Brown and Bailey Falter tonight, minus 190 for Houston, plus 155 for the Buccos and
09:06an eight and a half.
09:09I got to take Brown over Falter in this matchup in Houston.
09:14Pirates got lucky last night, steal one at minute made.
09:17I say the Astros even up the series tonight with Brown.
09:20He's way more effective than Falter.
09:23We'll slide one more in.
09:24Colorado's in Anaheim against the Angels.
09:27Our pal Cal Quantrill for now and Griffin Canning are the starters.
09:32Minus 135 for the Angels, plus 115 for the Rockies and a flat nine.
09:36I mean, these two are so awful, the teams and the pitchers, like this is a disaster
09:42waiting to happen.
09:43Give me the over nine.
09:44They're both going to give up five, six runs each.
09:48This will be 12, 13 runs easy.
